...not much mention of these lads, we need more discussion on Ocean Colour Scene! Anyone got ideas for a predicted setlist etc? I hope they pull up a few of their B-sides, and who knows, we might even get Noel and Liam joining them for a go at Day Tripper again! :P

The wife has been the biggest OCS fan since day one - can't even tell you how many times we've been to see them, but would love the following in a short set....

Robin Hood

The Circle (what a fantastic singalong..... and I know, and I know!!!)

100 Mile High City

July

Travellers Tune

and of course, The Day We Caught the Train

if they had a bit longer would also love Profit in Peace, Better Day and You've Got It Bad

Really looking forward to OCS, saw them in 2005 as they played at my old Uni & they were great. Missed them at V a couple years ago, i went into the JJB to watch them but the stage was running about half an huor behind & i couldn't bare watching Dizzee Rascal so i left! Do you reckon someone else will be added below them in the lineup, or that they actualy will open the stage?

I think they will probably open as they are 7th on the bill at moment. I suffered the same cock up as you a few yrs back, waited half an hour for d rascal to finish but stayed way outside the tent. but then had the problem of leaving OCS after 4 songs as rest of party wanted to watch pink. I will not be making that mistake this year as it looks likely they are opening the V09 for us <_<

Ah Day We Caught The Train has all the hooks in it so I have no doubt it will once again get the crowd chanting, got to be the set finisher.

I'd be happy with them doing the entire of Songs For The Front Row album, You've Got It Bad and Get Blown Away would be worthy inclusion in addition to all those mentioned.

im not going to v this year as im going to leeds festival.

I LOVE OCS!

one of my favourite bands of all time, managed to catch them in cardiff hard rock cafe a few weeks ago (acoustic set with foxy and craddock) and it was amazing. top night.

im keeping my fingers crossed they will appear at leeds too but i doubt it.

enjoy them!

hopefully for you they do 'it's my shadow' and 'lining your pockets' for you guys :P
