2009,2011,2013.... All acceptable
-
Would definitely take 2010 weather again, although lie-ins were not an option with the temperature in the tents by 7am. Had a late night on the saturday and had to survive the Sunday on an hours sleep.
My mate also didn't bring sun cream as his theory was you couldn't get sun burn in the UK. Even when I offered him mine he'd take a pea sized amount. As a result his legs were horribly sun burnt, forcing him to be be only man on site wearing jeans in the 30 degree heat on the Sunday.

I promise you that whatever the weather does Glastonbury will be great.

I'm getting increasingly concerned by how many people are planning to see sasha on the Thursday night. At this rate it'll be a bigger crowd than kasabian pull in and I won't get anywhere near it!
-
Another one ludicrously excited about sasha at the glade. The amount of people saying how excited they are makes me think it might be hard work getting anywhere near it though!
-
I love juicy m, she's got a video showing how you can get away without using headphones. I think she probably just uses auto queue though.

If I can manage 4 hours then I find that's enough to stop me from feeling half-dead.
The exception is generally Wednesday night when I get the best part of 8 hours due to a combination of tiredness induced from carting all my stuff to site plus peaking too soon on the booze.
-
only on two occasions: in the car on the way in and in the car on the way out.
hope this helps

Got straight through to a booking page but got kicked back out every time. Try again Sunday.
-
If you go back to the main page it says sold out

I went to get a Twix from the vending machine this afternoon, put in my money, then the thing spun round but said Twix did not fall from the machine leaving me 75p lighter and still Twix-less.
Can't decide whether this is a good or bad omen for this evening.

What about getting 2 shinies in a packet if stickers? That's all kinds of awesome

Some good calls in there, just getting into Darkside now, superb. Did you see them play a couple of weeks ago?
-
I find it enough effort walking to the taps and back to brush my teeth in the morning.
Can't imagine being willing to spend hours traipsing to the car, out the site and then back to the tent again. Far better things to be doing.

I cannot for the life of me understand this descision
-
Sorry they already confirmed the return of that stage
-
Hopefully the new stages relate to the Dance/Silver Hayes area. The big Y-shaped staged in Silver Hayes didn't work at all.

My mate's girlfriend was in the same position and in the end decided she couldn't justify it, especially since she'd be coming down from Manchester.
I don't think I would bother if I could only get there Friday night either although guess a lot depends on what time you could get there for on the Friday and when you'd have to leave Sunday. Leaving mid-afternoon on Sunday just as everyone else is getting warmed up would be grim.

This thread is filling me with optimism!

from these posts - and it's likely that those posting here are keener types than the average - it suggests that 20%-ish of tickets could be back into the pot on resale day.

None at the park as far as I'm aware but there were still some unannounced acts (beady eye, skrillex, jagwar ma did a secret gig, probably others as well)
Friday other stage opener
