I cant see them moving the location. Im sure they make enough money to cover the costs. If theey do move it, Im f**ked, having already booked and paid most of a central apartment in Buda.
Whats the climate usually like people? I hear it can get into the late 30s?! I'm not up for that!!

woooooo! After not much debating we've gone for it! Booked an apartment in the city centre that is fit for 10, but for just 5 lads! And a double bed each!!!!
Just gotta book the flights and buy the festy tickets now!

Kasabian Pyramid 09 - So boring, so overhyped, so dull. Ended up buying some pills and going to see pendulum
Script Other 09 - My friends wanted to go, alas, I said it would be shit as they are shit. I stayed at the tent in Pennards and heard the whole shockingness, and laughed at my friends faces when they came back and looked like they were about to cry.
Gorillaz Pyramid 10 - Just felt so bad for Damon ;(
Bloc Party Other 09 - Utter Shite.
Fratellis Pyramid 08 - Oh dear god. Someone must have seen this also. How insanely bad. I remember just wanting to run away from the pyramid but I was hanging around for KOL.
Massive Attack Other 09 - Love this lads, but soul-less.

This year myself and some of my cronies are looking to go to Sziget.
Just have a few questions really..
Whats the atmosphere like? What are the Hungarians like?! Do most people there speak english as my foreign language skills are pathetic!! Whats the festival like as a whole?
Also, wheres a good idea for places to stay in budapest? Can anyone reccomend apartments and hotels? Which places in budapest are best to stay away from too!
Also, whats the exact dates for 2011? And will I struggle to get tickets?
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Was right in the front of the crowed in the middle where the "ring of death" was. I was just trying to keep my self alive, there were so many crazy bastards near the front. Same with prodigy quite hard to appreciate the music when you are so close where you can't even move!

This guy called was the first to call Stevie to headline and I'm taking his word on this. I'll be there for the 3 bands before anyway, I was gonna head off for The Cribs after Stornoway but I'll stay and see what happens at the Park now.

a mate of mine is doing a season skiing and now he can't make glasto.
We've [sadly] got another 'strawberry blonde' friend who we're gettin to shave his silly beard and come with us if he can get the time off. He most looks like him, but what about someone who looks different?
i know theres no way of selling the ticket, and even if there was, i'd prefer another friend to come.
Was just interested to know what the score is, if people have gotten others in who look nothing like that of the person on the ticket?

Yea Stevo, I saw that yesterday on the facebooooook. Good news. Its also good news that you dont feel the heat as much as you do here. One of our main reasons for going here was Glasto nearly killed us last year going to bed at gone 5 and gettin up at 7 cause your tent was already a sweatbox! We'll sit around the city bars during the day then in the nice air con, and hit the festy at night! Im pretty excited, havent been abroad in years! Lovely apaartment booked too.
