As regards to venue of Maxi and crews London return, whats the deal with Victoria Park nowadays? I saw Tiesto there (i'm sorry) a fair few years ago. Would suit!

I saw them at Sziget in 2011 (I Think?!) and they were out of this world.
I don't know why people bang on about their latest album having to be a massive success for them to be able to headline.... They are legends in their own right. I.E: Verve with 'Forth' (give or take a 6 year or whatever hiatus).
Glastonbury is really their festival in the UK... So if they're headlining IOW, they're headlining Pyramid or Other. Not subbing. Prodigy in daylight? Nah.

So I've got to try an get a ticket for a friend of mine who stupidly didn't register and then BAM I got Tickets.....
If I fail in April, what's the best way to keep my ear to the ground about these 'secret' sales in May? I saw in a thread before some people have programs which let you know when a specific website URL changes it's layout?? I.E: A seetickets or Glasto page linking to SEE changes from sold out to available?!

They won't drop it. They'll treat this gig similar to Glasto last year, I'd say about 4 or 5 AM tracks making way for an extra couple of the oldies.
Don't think the slowed Mardy Bum would go down very well though

They continued and played some dates in South America, Lollapalooza, etc. and Some in Aus. All they've been doing of late is pretending to work on new material but mainly holidaying, family time and sitting on yachts.
The evidence points towards a possibility, but sadly that's all it is. And a VERYYYYY long shot. But this is Muse we're talking about so nothing is impossible :S
Tom (their cameraman) retweeed a '20 Years of Muse' tweet from a fanzine a week or so ago, which had the hashtag #SOON. The SOON part could be irrelevant though.

Given this quote: 'One or two special festivals. Maybe one in American and just one in Europe'. Special = Significant = Headlining Coachella in US and celebrating a 20th anniversary in Europe? Special guests / special gig = Reading !

Ok so I've done a bit of (wishful) thinking and I reckon not to rule out Muse. Matt said in late 2013 regarding their plans for 2014; 'There might be one or two special festivals. Maybe one in America and just one in Europe.'
Well given that they love Reading, its their 20th anniversary, have played The Americas and Australasia; and no where in Europe.... I'm going to hold out some hope here. As unlikely as it may be.

How is it not an Arena haha?! It con be converted into anything, has standing and seated and has a pretty frickin big capacity. The fact it's not purpose built is irrelevant

AM have been playing like 10 songs off their new album at Festivals this year.... I hope this is significantly reduced .... 'We're gonna play some old shit, and some new shit, some shit we don't get out very often' PLEASE.

I hate he's said that! I love that song, and it was spot on, and thought it went down really well. If you have a look at the video from it on youtube, its probably one of the best live performances going. Seamless and perf. Shame. I love that song.

Thought you were talking about Fake Tales. Soz. I can see that being played @ Reading. They'll mix it up, especially in the UK.

we're gonna be spending the time there in the Arena and will probs not need to go back to tents at all... And it's not comparable in size to Glasto, where we were camped probably about a 20 min walk to the cloeset main stage (the other).
Its gotta be what, half hour, max, if that? If its dry obvs?

Just wondering if anyones heard any rumours or anything about secret slots over the weekend. I know from years gone by they've had the likes of Ed Sheeran *spit* and Green Day play not-so-secret slots.... But I'm intrigued about this year!
Also, whats the best way of finding out about these aside from hearing people talk about it? Twitter? R+L Twit Accounts? NME?
