    I quite like Bastille too but doesn't seem to be a popular option on here for some reason.

    I have a sneaky about Muse being there somewhere over the weekend. Maybe Libs. NGHFB wouldn't surprise me as he seems to be missing when his mates Roger and Paul are closing the festy.

    Sorry Jenny but I've gotta go the other way here.

    Your little poo and puke factory won't miss you for 5 days. Its 5 days out of the next whole 18 months or so you have of baby time!!

    See it as a little 'you' time. I honestly would go this year, leave him with the 'rents, and enjoy yourself. I can't see it being any easier to go and leave a real young toddler in a year or two's time, when they can't wander around, pull things, fall over and draw on walls!!!

    Don't do it. Five days is nothing in the grand scheme of things.

    Ahhh Old Rosie, my Kryptonite.

    You can get it in a old fashioned glass bottle, in Costcutter Supermarkets (our local garage has one). I believe they're around 2.5l - So just decant this into a 2l bottle, and drink the rest on the spot, unless you're driving.

    This year will be my 5th Glastonbury and not once I have ever been bothered about a line up, on the basis of potentially cancelling my ticket. Yes they might not please everyone, but there's so much to do, what's on is irrelevant. I paid my balance yesterday.

    I know there'll be SOMETHING there I really want to see (Kanye excites me already), and I'm happy the Eavii decide this for me, and I put my faith (and £210 hard earned and even harder to come by) in their hands.

    And it's not a cashing exercise in any way - You can refund your ticket into May or something I believe, so if Noel Gallagher or Kasabian aren't there - Them types are free to refund and go to V :)

    The fact that you sat through that has amused me highly. Couldn't think of anything much worse. I really think you're barking up the wrong tree here. They knew Kanye wouldn't go down overly well, and whether or not you think Maradonas a legend or not, I don't think she'd be greatly received by the masses. Unless the majority is my sister. And a Glasto full of my sisters would not be fun....

    Fuck off, Ron. The Stones turned shit immediately after he joined. Who the fuck does he think he is to make judgments about what the festival is after having played once? What's "with all his swearing" supposed to be alluding to? The Stones were more outrageous than Kanye in their day... before Ronnie Wood joined and they became an inoffensive stadium rock novelty. In the past 3 years, the headliners we've had/will have consist of 7 guitar bands and one rapper, how is that taking over? Does he know that R&B means rhythm and blues, has he ever even fucking heard The Rolling Stones? Christ alive, what a whopper.

    Not like Kanye's ever done a Bill Wyman either is it

    People stating that Muse have been listening to too much 'this, that or the other' should probably bare in mind that this riff made its Muse debut 16 years ago. When Royal Bloods boys were 10 and 11. A band who have said they try to channel 'early Muse' .

    Because I'm too lazy to check / it's not a rumour / I didn't want to start a new thread.... Has anyone giving any thought to Robbie Williams being somewhere on the bill? I only say this as I've seen he's headlining Sziget.
