  1. Went left the front row after Jamie T, thinking we wanted something more upbeat than a front row place at doves...... so went to bloc party.

Biggest mistake of my life. Egotistical bunch of student dropout shitc**ts led by a poser who cared more about gettin his new trim pecks out than getting the crowd going.

We left the OS and i cried myself to sleep that night, dreaming about how wicked doves would have been if we'd stayed at the JP.

Editors however, awesome band. Played glasto 3 years in a row, higher on the bill each time. Obviously doing something right. Second to top on OS

  2. Sex on fire was a cack song tbh. But Kings are awesome. One of the best bands ive ever seen live.

Saw them 2008, 22nd december, wembley arena, last day of their tour, right at the front, and they were amazing.

Put them on a festy stage and they seem mediocre at best. Put them in an arena and theyll blow the f**kin roof off!

  3. Lets be honest now. Kasabian were good, when they played in 2007. Last year they were just 'going through the motions'

Boring as high hell. Best descision we made last year was leaving them for Pendulum.

No one can be the judge of best british band, it just goes on individual opinion.

And I dont know what planet you live on saying they've sold out tours. They're not stadium tours are they. Theres a reason why Muse are headlining FOR THE SECOND TIME and KASABIAN PROBABLY NEVER WILL HEADLINE.

u2 + muse, both are british, both headlining..................unlike Kasabian

  4. Im a big muse fan, have been for years, and I want to get all my home boys to the front for Muse on the saturday.

Ive never really bothered getting really close before, we always get somewhere near the middle just near the sound/light deck thing.

But whats the score with gettin inside the gate thing at the front? and how long would you have to get there for beforehand?

Im assuming its best to get there a couple of acts before and slowly work your way forwards. We might be a bunch of young lads, but we wont go pushing through people and stuff.

  5. Tom lives out in the countryside 2 minutes down the road from me in Kent, and drinks at the pub i play darts for.

I was chatting to him and so on, and he says the new album is a completely new idea, and moving in a different direction than the previous 3 records. He seems really happy with it. didnt mention anything about playing anywhere when i asked him about glasto, except some gig in a forest somewhere.

  6. 6 of us last year:

    70cl jagermeister

    9L smirnoff

    1.5L jack daniels

    2 Bottles Rose

48 x Stella Jumbo 'MANSIZE' Cans

    48 x Gaymers Pear Cans

    48 x Strongbow

24 x 'red rooster' energy drink

    24 x carlsberg

    18 x fosters

and 3 crates of pot noodle

beers also bought at Brothers and random bars.

  7. Muse will only play one of the headline slots, as theyd want it dark and top of the bill on that stage at least. But I also can't see someone like Bellamy saying yea, ok, we've headlined the pyramid before so we wouldnt mind being on the other stage headlining.

Im going back against everything that I said before, and I think muse will be on the Pyramid, Saturday night.

  8. Buy yourself some salvia, methadrone (both legal) and some ganja ( basically legal!)

I took some herbal highs at glasto last year. It was 3 in a tube and I got the 'mdma' ones and the 'trippy' ones. it advises one every hour, so I nailed all 3 at once, in both packs. didnt even touch me, just a ridiculous money maker.
