  1. Going by this Calvin Harris is subbing on the Satuday down there.

    saturday july 12

    Kinetic Field

    Avicii

    Calvin Harris

    Steve Angello

    Steve Aoki

    Nicky Romero

    Martin Garrix

    Showtek

    Bassjackers

Think that has a 11pm finish so he would prob finish at about 9/9:30?

  2. Looking at the site on Google, quite a few fields that can accomodate the campsite around the area, I'd imagine they'll be fencing around the burn though! I'd imagine the main stage will sit close to where the castle is and we will be down that, Radio 1 stage, King tuts/slam/tbreak/introducing tents as alternative stages like this year.

Edit: main stage area, doesnt look bad apart from some of the placing of some trees

HSE demands seem to be the main reasons too - http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/whats-on/music-nightlife-news/park-organiser-geoff-ellis-switch-3761987

  3. Which is what I said, we are moving because GE wants to. In my line of business the hoops I have to jump through for the HSE are no less onerous than application DF have for balado.....

Make no mistake he will have to jump through similar hoops wherever he sets up next. Do you think Michael Eavis throws a stage or two up in rural piton?? Hopes no one will notice??

  4. not seens The Suns wording for it but also reported in Edinburgh Evening News - http://www.edinburghnews.scotsman.com/what-s-on/t-in-the-park-to-move-to-new-site-after-this-year-1-3454445 seems a bit of a rehash of what has been said previously really. Can't understand the ordeal over it all really when its been there for so long now. Though I wouldnt be surprised if this is part of why the festival has downsized over the last year or two (less stages etc) in preperation for a smaller site.

New location could be announced tomorow

  5. Suppose it was going to happen at some point with the HSE being on their necks, if the convienence of it being a few miles down the road is gone that may add to this being my last main one, may as well enjoy it. Anywhere on the central belt that gives the same space as Balado? Part of me thinks they have been downsizing in preparation for this.

  6. The Stand comedy Club stage lineup announced

Russell Kane, Lee Nelson, Andrew Maxwell, John Cooper Clarke, The Ginge, The Geordie and The Geek, Des Clarke, Big Gary Little, Iain Stirling, Mark Nelson, Billy Kirkwood, Comedy Rap Battle: Where Comedy & Rap Collide, The Wee Man, Hindsight by Keir Mcallister, Scott Gibson, Ray Bradshaw, Gus Lymburn, Liam Withnail & Jellybean Martinez

May have to catch John Cooper Clarke at the very least from that lot

  7. I think it is, we go for the tent option, £135.....

You arrive get a band a tent number and go, it is built, which is excellent in the rain. No wet clothes or messing about trying to build a tent in a downpour. I bought air beds and sleeping bags from amazon, very cost effective.

  8. This is where the old efest camps used to come in handy. May be heading on my own as it stands so will keep you in mind. On a side note a_n_other, tangerine fields, are they worth the extra cost? This may be an alternative I'm taking.

  9. I was hoping for King Charles, if ed sheeran can headline one of the big stages with one album and one on pre order (I count loose change as an ep)

Then King Charles can headline transmission, I will always call it transmission as I will always call it the NME stage. Fuck the BBC

  10. Still expecting an announcement regarding the transmission tent or whatever its going to be called now in hope that I'll have an alternative to watch on Saturday. Expecting Klaxons to be one of the headliners for this if there is one
