  2. Saw him in the king tuts tent a few years back, must have been a one of day, wasnt that bad really. If they wanted to get them in, then it wouldnt be impossible really, from the sounds of it Pete really needs the money which T could give a decent sum to them, depending on the timing of that gig I wouldnt be surprised if Geoff and co is trying to book them up.

Paolo with fastest selling album of the year so far, I expect them to make a big deal of this today.

  11. Actually, on the mention of Oasis, Noel could feasibly headline on his own (or 'co-headline'...) would prefer him doing his own thing too. Expanding the last example...

Friday: Florence and the Machine (next in line for 'new' festival headliners, not many new ones out there outside maybe Foals, The Vaccines ship has sailed imo, plus, she sells shedloads)

Saturday: Kasabian/Noel Gallagher (Kasabian play in Calvins spot this year and Noel plays under one of the few acts he's ok to do so)

Sunday: Muse (Best of set, last few gigs have had seen them mix alot of older tracks in)

Undercard includes Jack White, The Black Keys, Avicii, The Vaccines, Lily Allen, Macklemore and Lewis

  14. lol, people still thinking there might be a R1 on Saturday, its Elbow, whether we like it or not, they are big enough for it.

Slightly dissapointed that it looks like Paul Weller is getting a high end spot, shouldnt be any higher than 4th main/king tuts headliner these days, would have him taking a higher spot than Jake Bugg saying that.

  16. Still hoping for The Orwells, Jack White, Interpol, Blondie, Wilko Johnson, Black Keys, Julian Casablancas and The Wailers (I know a few of them are unrealistic/definitely not happening). A good few of them would improve the Saturday which, IMO, is pretty shocking right now - WAS are the only act I'd want to see that day. I'm not asking for much...

I also notice that Electric Six are playing at the end of November (again), they'd go down a treat too.

  19. I'm quite content with the ending of the Taker match, I didnt expect it, but in a way, if it was ever 'going to end', its really too big a title for nearly anyone that works fulltime to take. As seen last night, Brock/Heyman are going to get alot of resentment for it, just because its something that no one really wanted to see die, and because of who they are and the stage of their careers, they will thrive on it. Give that to a Reigns or Wyatt, they have to have it weigh them down the rest of their careers, title wins will seem insignificant in comparison etc.

I'd be happy if Taker called his time and left it that really, last night painted him as having nothing left and if what various places are saying is true, maybe shouldnt even have been fighting due to being so broken down
