I didn't mean to do any tagging! @kalifire
  3. Some of you people never want this to end. No killer instinct!

  6. They were great though, a delightful din. Just a shame I had to nip off half an hour early to catch the train.
  7. Anyone ever heard of Mermaid Chunky?

  9. To add to the above, the songwriting may have dropped off slightly, but they sound better than ever. Funeral is just a bit too shouty and ramshackle for my tastes, those songs sound better live these days. I know that's kind of part of the appeal - the energy of it, but I do wish it had been recorded better.
  10. I fucking love Everything Now and Reflektor. Even if I accept that every album has been getting steadily worse, that's the flattest of slopes imaginable and I'm not sure that I even do, because I think The Suburbs is my least favourite album. And I think it's fucking ace. To my ears, they're a very, very consistent band. Which I suppose actually is a controversial opinion. And they're great live, which isn't controversial.
  11. They've been doing a new album, pandemic got in the way.
  12. Do any of them live in Canada anymore? Win and Regine live in New Orleans and Will lives in Brooklyn from what I can tell.

  14. Hot Chip are not going to win, nothing to see here. If you really like another band, downvote somebody other that Hot Chip. Hot Chip will not break your legs, nor put you down. They won't snap off your head either.

  17. You clearly haven't listened to enough Beach Boys. But, yeah Bridge...is a classic. Not a dud track on there.
  18. They were fucking good to be fair. I quite like Justice anyway, but that gig was miles better than I expected.
