17th march, 9am. It's on the Vodafone VIP website
-
My friend bought her ticket last year along with the early entry ticket and said it came to £208 or something including fees and postage so expect it to be a lot more than that
-
If both Muse and green day were to play that would be amazing
I went to see them both last year, both in the same outdoor venue and they were fecking outstanding. It would seriously top off what's already gonna be an awesome summer
-
This year will be my first at Kendal and also my first festival camping
Some pretty brilliant acts announced so far, can't wait to see who else is playing.
Aside the music though, what else goes on around the festival that's worth taking a look at? x

Bon Iver isn't supporting arcade fire :/
His website also states no upcoming tour dates
-
Its all about Brothers tutti frutti
-
Radiohead
Pulp
Arcade Fire
Pink Floyd
Coldplay
I think all are a possibility minus Pink Floyd, unfortunately

Just got back from London, had the best birthday ever, there are no words to describe how amazing Macca was! The whole thing was just perfect, the whole 3 hours....although hearing him play Maybe i'm Amazed and and I saw her standing there, would've been the cherry on top of the cake but nevermind. I was right at the front, in front of the big screen but still had a great view of Macca. I've been looking through my pics and my sister obviously spotted the Jonas Brothers so at least that made her day. I'm not sure if its still up on youtube or not but I know a few songs were on tv so I cannot wait to watvh it back again. So sad its all over now though, it feels like it happened forever ago!
I sat through unbearable heat, Crosby Stills & Nash, covered in dirt, sunburnt....but it was all worth it in the end

Happy Birthday for whichever day it is on the weekend, have a great time!
Last year the ciders were about £3.50 I think so £4 could be right, also the £4 burger is what we were paying at Download and its the same events company. I think I will have to miss the England game to watch Costello afterall I paid to see great music not watch a plasma TV. Besides if its like Download they flash the score up on band changes.
There will be standpipes but take an UNOPENED 500ml bottle of water (friend had one confiscated as opened bottle of orange) with you and you should be ok to avoid paying shed loads. I will be taking 4 bottles of water to the hotel with me and a different one per day (ASDA prices are a damn site cheaper than £2 each).

Not long now!
So excited for Sunday, though now I'm wondering how Hard Rock are going to deal with the World Cup game? Is it going to affect stage times or not?!
Why did the USA have to score?!!!!!

Those drink selections and prices are about the same as you pay in the HMV PictureHouse venue in Edinburgh. Usually save my money and drink one pint in there and the majority after the gigs.
One more day of work then I'll be flying down on Friday morning.
-
Does anyone know if these prices are the same across the site or just at the hard rock cafe?
HARD ROCK FOOD
Hamburger (6oz) £4.00
Cheeseburger (6oz) £4.50
Chicken Burger £4.50
Veggie Burger £4.00
Hot Dog £4.00
Fries £2.00
HARD ROCK DRINKS
Tuborg (500ml) £4.00
Gaymers (500ml) £4.00
Wine (187ml) £4.00
Bacardi Breezer (330ml) £4.00
Soft Drinks (600ml) £2.00
Water (500ml) £2.00
£4 for a pint and £2 for a bottle of water?! They know how to make their money..
-
They took them down for some reason. Back up now though.

I have been to V festival numerous times in the past and it's fairly easy to sneak your own booze into the arena. Can you sneak booze in at hard rock? Do they pad u down or just search your bag?
Been wanting to see pearl jam since 92, so once I get to the front I don't plan on moving too much.

Tickets have gone on sale on the echo arena website for the paul mccartney day at a reduced price of £50 now https://www.ticketing.accliverpool.com/onli...aul%20McCartney
-
I ordered my ticket on the paul mccartney website through crowdsurge and got it in the post last week
-
Just had a call to say I've won Sunday tickets to Hard Rock through Live Nation..and off to Isle of Wight tomorrow as well...happy days!
-
I'd edit your ticket image to hide the bar code etc, as touts could use that picture on ebay.
Sometimes the organisers of the festivals cancel all the tickets they see on Ebay where they can read the barcodes etc from the pictures.

I know the cricket ground in Manchester deffo has a curfew of 10.30, last time I went there though I only just got the 11.30 train back home...the tram was packed! I think the wembley curfew is the same, so my sister informs me
-
My weekend tickets arrived today so I have tickets for all free days now.
I reckon one more act will be announced for the second stage on friday, not sure what has happened to Social Distortion and The National as Efests still have them down as TBC.
-
Just got an email telling me my tickets are on their way!
-
ahhhh Crowded House just came on the radio, can't wait to see these, hopefully the sun will be shining too
-
I'm glad I didn't get Glasto tickets now, this sunday lineup is awesome and u2 have dropped out

in Reading & Leeds Festivals
Posted
On the Vodafone VIP site it only has reading festival on it. I'd assume it to be for Leeds too but it doesn't say anywhere :/
