Kaleidoscope Festival have announced Basement Jaxx and The Divine Comedy - same dates as Glastonbury.
Could there be some share here? Hope so - love the new Divine Comedy LP.https://www.goldenplec.com/festivals/kaleidoscope-2020/
Looks like Tom Odell managed the hop over the Irish sea to do it last year...

I feel posh just paying for a cold beer from the bar. Where does everyone get this cash from?

Would Macca, Kendrick, Swift be the best headliner trio they’ve ever had?
Not in my IMHO
Neil Young, Blur, Springsteen - 2009
Was expecting Young to be sniffy and play b-sides and he destroyed it. Blur was the perfect sing along with a cracking set and Bruce was a great addition. -
Are Rage Against the Machine big enough? Just announcing a tour after reforming according to 6Music news?

TBH - I thought it was better this year on the whole.
You're right, the error messages are confusing though but these are where the tickets are all allocated I think and you're basically out of luck.
It's so painful to get that far and get an error though. Sorry to hear you were unlucky. -

Being nervous about the hosts file and dns stuff. If I can see the above page that you screenshotted (and I can) then do I need worry? Ta in advance!
If you've never changed your settings and can see that page you're fine.
I think the original poster had tried to change their settings based on some ropey advice a good few years ago.
Basically during the sale only one of the See servers was working, folk on the internet worked it out and pointed directly at the other servers bypassing the queue. See, rightly, have fixed it so this isn't possible.
So if you've never changed your settings no worries!

That was exactly it! No wonder I haven't been able to get on the ticket page for at least 2 years! Deleted it and works again now. Thank you so much
Glad to help.
Good luck tomorrow! Let me know how you get on.

Yeah - we've got a mix of 8 - 10. Some girl's registration numbers are bigger than others..

Thanks, I'll try that
Yeah there are instructions here:
https://support.rackspace.com/how-to/modify-your-hosts-file/
Look for something like
11.123.134.11 glastonbury.seetickets.com
If there's a line like this delete it.
If not try checking the DNS settings https://www.windowscentral.com/how-change-your-pcs-dns-settings-windows-10
Change them to the google settings.

Ok so I was trying for coach tickets, and couldn't even get on the holding page on my laptop. Tried using Chrome, Firefox, Safari. My phone on 4g/Wifi could access the holding page (no further).
I just tried the ticket page again and I still can't get on it using a regular browser. But I just tried using Tor and that worked fine! There must be something in my laptop settings that's preventing access to the ticket page in particular. The regular glasto site and all other websites I can get onto no problem.
I'm not sure I want to rely on using Tor for the main ticket sale. Please if anyone knows what might be the problem here I'd be very grateful!
Have you ever changed your hosts file? If you don't know what that is then probably no.
Or your dns settings?

Factor at least half an hour to load bags, a half an hour stop. At midday traffic around the gate is usually ok but all depends how many coaches are arriving and how free flowing the roads around are.
If the weather is bad it could be anything. I'd say you'd be arriving 1pm.
Our coach from Manchester sailed in last year but we didn't leave until 2pm

The ones I’ve been on always have. Isn’t it a legal requirement or summat now?
Ours from Manchester didn't work last year. I wouldn't bank on it.

We got 6 tickets from Manchester! How have you found out what time you depart?
You find out in May. Been a couple of years from Manchester. There's lots of departures - every hour. They go from opposite Victoria (the Co-op building).
We went at 2pm last year. There is a theory on here that they fill the coaches in the order that the tickets were bought. We got our really late last year so that seems to work.
What time did your transaction go through? -

Birmingham.
Fuck - knew I should have put Manchester.

Does anyone know where the brum coaches depart from?

Chrome but in previous years Edge seemed to be a silent hero. The weird one is when a browser hits the timeout / can't connect it seems to get stuck in that.
-
No tricks here - just some slow F5ing and we got two groups. I've got through on leaving a tab open untouched too.
I really think it's blind luck now. -

Got lucky via my mobiles 4g connection (virgin mobile) laptop on super fast WiFi (virgin top tier) didn't have a sniff just got the page as if the websites crashed out.
I did notice once on the payment screen there was a little countdown timer of 5 minutes saying these tickets are being held for...... Etc so don't understand how if peoples tickets were being held when they got through to enter card details they were still all gone when they entered their details as some are saying (if the timer hadn't reached zero and released them I mean) as according to the page they would have had tickets held for that booking?
I got mine this way after it said sold out last year. I'm sure there are some See Ticket folk freeing duplicates up or something a few minutes after "sold out" goes up. Worth hanging on anyhow.

Not even a sniff. Did everyone get that white holding page..or was it just me?
Group of ten trying. A big mix of white holding page and just not loading at all. We sneaked in but there weren't many reg pages this year.

At home tonight where I've banned all other use of the internet from 5:30-6:30. My office Sunday where there's only ever me and weekend security guard Dave who seems baffled every time I turn up at half 8 on a Sunday for an hour.
Was going to stay at work tonight but had a dream that I stayed til 6 and got hassled constantly I missed the tickets.
I think it's time to get Dave's F5 finger trained.

My anxiety levels are soaring. Will be trying on multiple wifi networks, 4G, across multiple devices, some refreshed, some being left to refresh automatically.
Tick tock tick tock tick tock....
Also just realised my Macbook Pro doesn't have a physical F5 button on (bloody touchbar). Need that manual button to mash!
CMD + R I believe (not a Mac owner though)

Sorry to drag this back up again but the thought just occurred that a Pyramid field full of punters singing "The National Express" before having to get on one home the next day would be great.
