  1. My first time too. I loved it. I thought the atmosphere was great - definitely way better than when I went to Leeds! Seemed like everyone just wanted a fun and friendly time. didn't see a single scrap or cup of wee thrown... The exception to this might be up at Arcadia - lots of people on stuff and a bit more of an edge. Like a previous poster said, a fair few people on coke and that's never a good thing. There was also a lot of dance music on, particularly as soon as the headliners finished when it took us a long time to find anything that wasn't full on dance stuff. Might be that we didn't know where to go so ended up with the load on drugs at arcadia Place was a touch busy too. A few times we couldn't get to toilets or through areas of the site, and we couldn't get to some of the acts we wanted to see on smaller stages The place is huge. Couldn't believe the amount of stages etc. Feels like we barely scraped the surface!
  2. That Spectator article is grim. Just reeling off hate because she doesn't like festivals. It's pathetic.
  3. Wet Leg, but I'm sure it was all to do with them being on the Park. Could barely hear them
  4. I've definitely caught something! Negative on a lateral flow just now though so hopefully not rona There was so much coughing going on around the place on Sunday
  5. Had a class katsu curry somewhere up towards the Park (I think...). A quality Paneer wrap somewhere too. Had the dry paella near Williams Green. The yorkshire pudding thing was a touch dry too
  6. Yeah it was a real shame that Wet Leg was on the Park. Far too many people - they surely should've been on John Peel or Other. Couldn't get anywhere near the stage - at least with screens we could've seen it from miles back.
  7. We're aiming to arrive between 5 and 6am so that's promising!
  8. Hi guys, Glastonbury first timer here! When does everyone think the best time to arrive is? I've seen people talking up arriving on Tuesday night and sleeping in the car, but that sounds pretty gruesome! We're thinking of getting to the Glastonbury area around 5-6am on the Wednesday. Do you reckon that will be a particularly brutal time with traffic?
