  1. supersruct was always obviously a sell-on set-up.
  2. i think thats probably a consequence of festivals which use this years sales to pay last year's costs.

Farage can't give up being in Europe.
  8. the space created by the cancellations will probably get taken up by new players, just to understand issues i went thru the process of setting up a festival once, and i gave up when i couldn't pick a date which wasn't impacted by festivals i thought were competing festivals. there's probably people out there who fancy running a festival, and have the skill and energy to put it together, but are currently put off doing it because of other festivals, with fewer festivals, they might go ahead now.

    i hear there's a Glasgow gig for Gaza - i know he's a rangers hero but isn't this just divisive. 😛
  12. gene genie wants her baseline back 😛
  13. which sad bands are ypu thinking of? i think the name sounds perfect for the cure or morrissey!
  14. its probably less saturated than its been for a while , and a big festival disappeared with v festival - blaming everything on a cartel which doesn't exist is a swell way of getting the excuses in early. there's nothing to stop other promoters from building relationships with acts so that acts will want to continue that relationship. there's no magic going on.

if the left wants to win it needs to be good enough to win which isn't about (sewelectively*) blaming the papers because the left isn't good enough. if the left wants to blame losing on ( all the fault of comment/opinion writers)then i look forward to the likes of mattiloy crediting owen jones and the guardian for stammer winning

not true, as a paper its self funded for how many centuries! guardian readers don't want an unthinking paper they'd get the express or socialist worker if they did. socialist worker started reprinting its 2010 editions in 2018 and no one noticed for two years. 😛

i see the corbynites haven't forgiven him yet!! he called your man out as the sh*t he was, that you never noticed and still haven't!.
  18. As an aside my words weren't aimed at slighting fergie as much as they were aimed at a utd wind up 🙂
  19. You won't be getting close Liverpool Will have overtaken with the number before utd win again. Newc utd will win it before Man utd (just got manure in predictive text).
  20. In which case Liverpool fans can blame utd for the PREM wilderness years.
  21. Perhaps but the main problem I can see currently is the lack of live acts that people want to see. The music biz has changed a lot but festivals will struggle to put on an appealing lineup without newer stadium filling acts coming through to replace the older acts. It's not just the UK with this problem. It's a bit of a dead end without new acts
  22. Love that utd fans want to blame Liverpool for utd being sh*t
  23. Good list but plenty of those don't run every year anyway.
  24. And utd missed a decade before that cos they were too sh*t
