Is there a way of getting presale if you didn't receive the email? Or is it too late?

It’s on O2 Priority if you have that. On sale on Wednesday

I thought it was a good location, flat walk, near co op and gave me a chance to check out the opposite side to the cv fields where I've spent a few years. Also suited me that some options included pre-erected beds.

Are there pre erected bed options at Sticklinch? What about WV?

Done WV lots of time but only in the 2 man scout - find it quite small tbh.

  3. Congrats on yours and everyone else’s sobriety!

I did 2019 sober and enjoyed it but found it very very tiring. So make sure you are prepare for that - think of foods and drinks that give you energy as others have said.

I generally went to bed after the headliners apart from one night I really wanted to see Let’s Eat Grandma who were playing in a little tent at the bottom of the Park at 4am. It was the hardest few hours trying to stay awake and energised waiting for them to come on and then at 3.50am they cancelled. I’ve still not forgiven them.

  4. This thread is wild. Do we actually have any credible guesses apart from Roxy? FWIW, I put them on to see what all the fuss was about and recognised loads of their songs! Deffo way more than Kenny Rogers and I totally got into him and loved it.

I find the Spice Girls a bit cringe and I can’t see Victoria agreeing to get on that stage for fear of massively embarrassed herself. Having said that I agree that it would be a great booking and I’d probably end up there after a few pineapple tequilas.

So either is alright for me - it’s Glastonbury and I love it.

  5. From my sofa:

    1. Pet Shop Boys by some margin. WTWBs

    2. Macca (watched twice already whereas saving the second watch of PSB to the weekend for party vibes)

    3. Confidence Man

With a special mention for Crowded House as they have my ♥️. I love Neil Finn and his grandson screaming was hilarious

I fucking loved the bus. Had a 1356084815_Screenshot2022-06-28at21_09_40.thumb.png.7c5fbe975ed8a37928cfd647a94d19b6.png2123134223_Screenshot2022-06-28at21_10_15.thumb.png.035628dd39f2dc5d2d7adfec0c2d6c87.pngreal moment there on Friday night, sun low in the sky, mist (OK, dry ice) rolling across at the end of Hot Chip's DJ set and a half empty space. Was properly beautiful. Like very early morning in a 90s rave

This looks good to be fair and I would have enjoyed a hot chip DJ set Mardy 👍🏻

Block 9: missed the London Underground.

The Common: was Samula smaller or less screens/water visuals? Also I miss The Cave.

Was Gas Tower less of a 360 experience and more like another stage?

I wish Arcadia had Metamorphosis/Lords of Lightning.

I assume from above that this is not the case but I couldn’t see Genosys on anyones pics (ie the big tall blocky thing with the lights usually next to London Underground) - was that still there?

  8. This was my set of the festival from the comfort of my sofa hands down. I’m actually really excited to watch it again.

Neil’s voice is mesmerising, songs were wall to wall bangers, lights fab, outfits, dancers. The crowd were having the best time from the shots shown on the tv.

I don’t think many things will top this one for me. What a way to close the festival. Reminds me of LCD vibes in 2016.
Obviously I would have preferred to be there but life doesn’t always go to plan and the TV coverage has been amazing.

  9. Wow I just finally got to watch Macca back. Loved it, despite not knowing any of his post Beatles stuff, was so emosh. Not much is gonna beat Hey Jude on the Pyramid. I think given all your comments on here my expectations were of it being lacking in hits so I was prepared for that. I enjoyed (most of) his patter inbetween songs. And the crowd was wall to wall smiles and tears. A moment for sure.

  10. You’re also on the PSB iPlayer coverage (as Skelts mentions above) twice near the beginning if you want to watch yourself back 😜 Crazyfool1

  11. PSB starting with a banger. Love it.

I’m nearly done though, gotta be up early for work. Thanks for your company guys, it’s been a blast. Lots of sets still to watch next week too!

    Enjoy Kendrick.

Love to all. Peace. Over and out
