Surely we have an announcement tomorrow if pukkelpop has finished daily ones for now , be able to counter attack them with a strong announcement

I've just been thinking of the remaining bands and did some research of festivals around the time and have come up with the following list :- Interpol, mogwai, wombats, vampire weekend, Biffy, Papa roach, wolfmother,mogwai, Christine and the queen's, Thom yorke, parquet courts, cigarettes after sex, Richard Ashcroft.
Other random bands I've thought of are :-
30stm- could play Thursday if ego doesn't prevent it
Catfish and the bottlemen
Hozier

I just saw the pukkelpop forum on here and didn't see them listed and they're amazing saw them in 17 and was hoping for them in the barn

Yeah, those names need to be AAA-names to save that day. It's weird, normally RW provides a lot of variety for the opening day the main stage (Gorillaz + QOTSA + Script + Alice In Chains or Kings Of Leon + Arcade Fire + Imagine Dragons + Prophets Of Rage).
Now it's very one dimentional. And a band like Bastille isn't exactly top shelf material. So let's hope for some heavy hitters that day. Now it's looking very acerage.
The tents are shaping up nicely though, with Charlotte Gainsbourg, Brockhampton, Olafur Arnalds and Elbow. But those aren't exactly the biggest acts either.
Agreed I can't think of many bands that would be A* names tbh . The names i can think of are vampire weekend, Biffy clyro, foals

@Jazebel pukkelpop now announcing and everyone's mood at an all time low with rock werchter, have you got any encouragement. Can we expect some more big names or interesting names.

The Friday for werchter is how the whole festival should be. It's stacked with big names, rock music plus you have a rarity with tool the other days are so bleak with not many options
