Anything over 26 degrees for days on end is too hot at Glasto. Hopefully for you lot the dry weather just holds out.

Not even going this year, but long range forecast looks good.
You are all way too rattled 😛

Had a look at the 3 acts in question and all 3 have that weekend free this year on the schedule, so it all lines up to me.

Nope.

Have it on pretty good authority on who the 3 headliners are and you won't be disappointed.
Put it this way they could all headline pyramid stage.
-
Of the 3 headliners I would go and see Billie just for curiosites sake, as I would like to see how she handles the stage/occasion. I like some of her songs, but it's not what I would call 'festival music' - but I think it's pretty incredible she is only 20 and headlining on the Friday.
Good luck to her.
Paul - 0 interest.
Kendrick - I love rap music, but i don't like a lot of his experimental stuff, so I could take it or leave him.

Is this festival really worth playing along with their dumb 6am on-sale ploy?
It was a very good festival, the actual site itself (in my opinion) when the weather is good - is the best in the UK.

Its sold out in 2 mins
I just woke up now and grabbed 2 tickets, so don't think it's sold out?
Absolute bollocks there is no payment plan.

SGP was a bloody good festival, went in 2014 and 2016 - it's a lovely festival site as well.
I'll definetly be back on boiard if it returns next year.

As we are reaching the end of the month, anyone else reckon that was one of the worst summers of recent memory?
It just doesn't feel like it was ever particularly warm at all and the much hyped 'freedom' was all a bit of a fizzle out. People were predicting last days of rome style celebrations, but we've sort of wandered into September and I don't really remember summer evben starting...

Pretty sure it's still not permitted.
Hmmmm thats a shame, thanks for the responses

Whats the situation with visting the festival site at the moment? If you just wanted to walk through.
I know they have the camping, but is it possible yet to have a wander about?

Frustrating that the governments insurance and support has probably all come a bit too late. Had several festivals lined up this year but they all bit the dust in July. Didn't have much of an interest in the festivals in August, Wilderness etc - all a bit to tweed for me.
Ah well, onwards for next year.

Must have seen 15 parents dropping their kids off at my sons nursery this morning - every single one of them continuing to wear a mask even though it is now only encouraged and not mandatory. You’d feel the odd one out for not wearing one.
Good, hopefully people continue to do it in shops. The virus is rampant and will continue to be, I'm going to wear mine in shops.

Today is really simple. Upgrade your useless cloth mask for a not mask or better and be happy with your choice and others
Take some responsibility for your own health
Masks were always about the consideration of people around you - not yourself.

Makes me sick that shit. Even if you dont agree and you think she is being overly cautious where the fuck do people get off mocking her? If she wants to do whatever she wants to do then leave her to it.
Arseholes. Just like the ones on the opposite side of the debate.
As for special dispensation for clinically vulnerable I think it would be a brilliant idea and should be encouraged.Yeah well said that mate, bullshit people taking the piss out of that.

A good reply to prove my point.
I don't know what your point is.
'It's not lethal if you are under 50, therefore stop worrying?'
It's stupid, people don't like being sick full stop. So the level of fear is totally understandable given the circumstance.

It was the over selling of fear that a sub 50 year old should have about catching covid as well. We have scared 20s, 30s and 40 year olds beyond what was sensible in my view.
As a healthy 40 year old my risk from covid was tiny - that's a fact - yet the messaging didn't match this in an attempt at controlling people. We now have a problem that even single jabbed 20 year olds are fearful.
Theres a virus going around thats extremely tranmissable and can knock you on your ass for a week if not more.
No shit people don't want to catch it, in the middle of summer...... Even if it poses no lethal risk.
I don't generally like being ill, do you?
On a personal level, I don't equate 'it's not going to kill you' to - 'its totally fine to catch it'....

Same mates the other week you said weren't following the rules and where going to the pub ?
You lie so much on here.
Big difference between not following social distancing rules between a group of friends and entering a packed out pub with 150+ strangers with cases rabid.

We shall see... I think you will be surprised.
I don't think I will - but we shall see.
The government will realise that the economy coming back full swing is related to cases. They could have kept a bit more control and not open the flood gates complete.
I predict some u turns within the fortnight.
Secret Garden Party 2022?

Good good luck, with that.
