Good luck to everyone trying in resales this morning 🤞🍀🎫 I feel soooooo nervous 🫣🙈

I’m trying this morning too! So nervous I had to go for a run to get the jitters out. Made my best 5km time so hopefully it’s a sign! Good luck everybody x

There's something perversely fair about the Glastonbury ticket drama in my opinion. Those who really want a ticket will generally hang around longer to try and get one. While those who are half-arsed just "trying" will drop out after half an hour or so. I don't know, I'm sure it will change one day, but I personally don't have any complaints.

I have no complaints, but I am one of those who really want a ticket and will wait for a good hour after we've had the Tweet to say they've sold out, just incase. I've tried different devices, different IP's, different locations, 3G, Wifi, you name it and only managed once to buy tickets. I've had more luck winning than I have buying. I know it's luck of the draw but it's bloody frustrating. I also cannot see a better system and don't really think a ballot would be as fun as T-day is. I do love the rush whether or not I manage tickets, I feel I'm a lucky one who has been to the festival a fair few times and it makes me happy enough seeing everyone have a good time and being a part of the build up whether or not I have tickets 🥰

I’ll be trying for my brother and his partner in coach tonight then for myself on Sunday. If any efesters fancy helping out I’ll be eternally grateful. Send a DM if you’re free either day. Good luck @cb4747 if you’re entering the chiliys ticket competition today 🤞🎉

Thank you! I went. I did not conquer. I will be trying for Sundays sale!

I know what you mean! I’d be alone too and not knowing what’s involved is a bit intimidating. Would offer to team up but probably won’t get there in time!

I don't mind the mysterious challenge, it's more travelling and just being in central london on my own, I only live an hour away and have been to London a few times, but not alone for a good decade!

How do you get the clues? I don’t understand it I have Brain fog! I’m actually off tomorrow and in London so could give it a go

I've got the location. I need to convince my dad to let me have the day off work!

Bet you were very popular haha!

It was awful and I just wanted to cry. She had been asleep for AGES and I thought we were safe to enjoy AM but then her head popped out whinging 'I NEED A WEE!' It was dark, everyone was drunk and it really ruined the vibe. Darn kids.

  7. I battled through a HEAVING crowd to get to the toilet (despite being incredibly far back) with a double buggy last year because my 5 year old needed a wee. Be sensible and just go to the toilet.

I did but no dice! Better luck next time 😂🙈

Oh pants! Will there be a next time?! I'm saving my entry for when I get the 'it's time' feeling 🤣 I've also considered calculating the amount of tickets by the length of time the competition is open to see if I can predict a winning moment but I'm not smart enough for that.

Highly likely that I will be taking my one year old this year so probably going to camp in the family area. I have a few queries to anyone who's camped there in recent years:

    • How quickly does it fill up? We have a fairly large 6 man tent, more than likely be arriving slightly later on the Wednesday.
    • Are there any additional facilities? Showers / toilets /etc - or are kids expected to use long drops like anyone else. He'll still be in nappies thankfully but I imagine the long drops are actually quite dangerous for small humans.
    • What is the overall vibe? We have plenty of friends going but we are the only ones with a child so hoping we might meet some others in the same boat and mums and dads can take turns on who gets to stay out late, and who stays at the campsite while little ones sleep.

We would choose a family area next time we go, even over the Hospitality campsite! My 5 year old was fine with the long drops, but wasn't keen and one of us had to hold her each time. I imagine with younger children it could be trickier.

Maybe message them for next year?

I contacted them about it last year and never heard back! I haven't bought any bars this year for this reason which makes me sad, but I just feel a bit untrustworthy of it 😔

Bought the last Tony’s in the Oxfam shop. Someone had clearly had a peek before me as the paper was pulled back a bit. Needless to say nothing!

This. This is my only gripe with this competition. The placement of the golden tickets means that you can actually see into the bars quite easily.

It’s worked this morning! If anyone else wants to try it takes 48hrs to activate the rewards and opens the door to any Vodafone customer competitions

It does look horribly staged and not spontaneous at all. Plus she doesn't seem that excited when she wins.

I did think this. I know different people show shock/excitement in different ways blah blah blah, but when I was on the Radio last year the last thing on my mind was to film myself, it's a good thing I didn't because I screamed and cried like I had won the lottery, just the audio of me screaming is enough 🤣
