when i have not go tickets I have entered all competitions possible and never won anything

I once won and E.T lookalike competition when  I was 8 in Rhyl

I won with Radio 1xtra in 2014, hospitality tickets. I've won festival tickets in the past but Glastonbury are the ones I am yearning for. So desperate.

Every year I start having dreams about the festival in the run up.  It's usually earlier than this but last night was my first.  Was trying to scramble up to the Crow's Nest but the bank was stupidly steep and really slippy, but only to me.  Everyone else was getting up with no hassle and I kept slipping back down.  There was something really cool going off at the top too and I could make out the lights and hear something but it was just over the brow of the hill.  Anxiety at missing out on something perhaps, or maybe it was that bottle of Rioja....

I thought I was the only one. Are you going to the festival this year? So far I'm not and I get awfully obsessed with trying to find a way to go, the anxiety is painful!

Anyone know how many tickets you were allowed to purchase in one transaction at the 2015 secret resale?

If you go to pages around 65-75 of this thread it's all people getting the tickets I think up to 6 but may have misread.

Does anyone know where I can go to buy a Car Park Pass?  Forgot to get one when I paid my balance, and I can't find a link...

In past years, you've been able to get one after the balance payment.

I purchase mine on the day, I've even managed to park in the hospitality parking area previously.

    > Sink a few beers on the hill near the GLASTONBURY sign taking it the wonderful view at sunrise/sunset :D

I recommend watching the sunrise on the hill, make sure you're wrapped up as it's usually bloody freezing!

Depending on the time (ie missing rush hour in Bristol), you could have a look at staying on the M5 south until just before Bridgewater and then going in via the A39. Will loop you around the south of the farm and there was no traffic there last year in comparison.

Monday morning is a free for all regardless of where you are, as you know. Listen to the radio for traffic info and hope for the best.

One Monday a few years ago the traffic was so bloody awful it took me 11 hours to get home. Normally a 3 1/2 hour journey.

Shangri la did seem really intimidating the one time we had a look ( on the Saturday night I think).  Full of kids as well ;)

I also found it a bit intimidating the first time I went, it's just super busy. I'm a very short person and after a few drinks the Shangri La crowds are overwhelming but it's worth a crack if you haven't experienced it!

lost 3lb last week which is brilliant for me I never really lose anything more than 1 or 2 a week

I've got back into running which always makes me stick to my diet even more, the way I see it if I've put that much effort into leaving the house and running its ridiculous to then go and eat badly

woke up at 6:30 this morning instead of my usual time of 7:30 so I decided to get my arse in gear and managed to do a 3k run in just over 20 mins which has me buzzing

That's amazing well done! Making me feel bad about my egg and bagel for breakfast, I feel like I should have had a green smoothie and done some Yoga instead!

The announcement isn't the kind of thing you can wait for. It'll sneak up on you, put it's hand on your shoulder then whisper in to your ear "it's time"

Whilst reading that I could picture it literally happening. Gave me shivers. Haha.

    Just a few simple questions

1 is there a cash machine on worthy do you get charged are there massive queues for it.

2 do most bars food places take cards

3 are there lock ups on worthy do they have big queues .

Just trying to work out what's best cash cards or more of one than other .

    Cheers

I would recommend taking cash and the card machines do charge. The queues won't be as mad as regular lock ups but if you expect queues then if there aren't any you'll be chuffed!

I've read in places that you can, however I can't find anywhere official saying that you can buy them as you arrive.  I've got a campervan ticket however I might need to get rid of it and get car parking instead due to last minute changes of plan.

In 2014 I bought mine on the day and even managed to park in the Hospitality car park! Same price as you would pay online.

    Hello!

would anybody be able to tell me any information about the Glastonbury secret resale this year (2016)??

when roughly its going to be or which website you even get the tickets from?

desperately trying for two friends who need tickets!! any information would be a huge help!!

    thanks, Amy Cad

Have a look at the thread above, I read the whole thing and found it massively helpful. It will be the Seetickets website, and usually around 9th May onwards, they never give any hints so it's a case of being tech savvy and webpage watching! Alternatively have a go at entering competitions, there's been a few so far and there will be more throughout May.

hi all..this will be my first glasto..i have lots of questions so gonna start at the start..travelling and camping.....gonna be going with the family.. leaving glasgow early on  wednesday morning.. am heading down from scotland via yorkshire (the dog sitter is in yorkshire)...and will be hoping to get into the wickett camp site late wednesday afternoon....any tips or general info on this plan would be appreciated.. the first thing i am hoping to get right is to get to the west side carparks and gates to be in the general area of the wicket campsite.....looking foward to hearing from you...

My boyfriend and I arrived on the wednesday afternoon and had only slight issues with traffic. Our only problem was that we were parked in the furthest possible carpark, it was a hot long walk! We camped in Baileys and walked straight into the festival (no queues to get in) and found a great spot, it was reasonably full but we were right on the edge of the campsite. The later you arrive the further away you'll park, but shouldn't have problems with entry queues! Have a safe journey and wicked time! ^_^

apologies ... am PMing you now.

If you need another or any help just give us a shout, I sit in my office all day with Internet freedom from 9-5 and not much 'real work' to be doing! ;)

  15. Ive just read through the entire thread to see about last years one and the same things were being said, there will be one, there won't be one. It was on May 18th when I'm assuming the deadline for refunds and payments had well passed. Give it a few more weeks guys!

i've messaged also. Haven't been since 2005 (or was it '06?) when I was in sixth form, but hitting the dirty thirty this year on the 26th of June, so though i'd go back and see coldplay 11 for a birthday treat if at all possible!

P.S could anyone PM me the link to the See Tickets sales page? I remember reading that it's accessible, you just can't click through. Might be useful to have as a favourite...

I second Tame Impala, Radiohead and Lana Del Rey. She was incredible in 2014. I shed a tear whilst watching.
