  1. They got a pretty decent slot in 2021 so may be unlikely to be back so soon.
  2. Think they're unlikely to stick around for a couple weeks after their last UK date just for EOTR. Shame as theyre a great band and were excellent in Big Top a few years back.
  3. I don't disagree to be fair. Good thing that this year's line up has more depth than most.
  4. It's interesting that you have picked only three out of the last seven festivals for comparison. Perhaps implying that the headliners this year are poor in comparison to those three years, but not the other four.
  5. Angel Olsen confirmed for Garden Stage
  6. Yeah. I like both of these and both are great live.
  7. EOTR line up is more varied, interesting and deep than the GM line up in my option. GM line up is really solid but features a lot of acts that do the rounds/gig and festival circuits regularly. I think anyone who has attended EOTR over the last couple years will have seen lots of the highlights from the GM line up (Jockstrap, Gilla Band, Sudan Archives, Spiritualized, Alabaster Deplume, Yasmin Williams, James Holden, Deathcrash). Not sure many of the better booking (in my eyes) on this year's EOTR line up have played GM or many other UK festivals recently though. EOTR has more interesting stuff such as Yeule, Dungen, Mabe Fratti, Oren Ambarchi, Moin, Nina Nastasia, Big Brave, They Hate Change, Horse Lords, Infinity Knives and Brian Ennals, Avalanche Kaito and Julia Reidy. Edit: Green Man top lines are clearly better. I would have liked Young Fathers and Devo at EOTR but I think overall the EOTR line up is more rewarding but definitely more low-key.
  8. Manifesting no clash between King Gizzard and Angel Olsen or Arooj Aftab
  9. I'm actually feeling really positive about the line up now. The headliners are mostly guff for me but Angel Olsen being on Garden (i assume)rather than Woods is a lovely surprise. I think there would be less complaints about the line up if AO was top row and Future Islands were below. Think EOTR deserve big respect for seemingly giving Yeule and Dungen big slots where they could have just booked the likes of Squid for the umpteenth time. I'm fully expecting that when the set times and clashfinder are out I'm gonna be rushing all over the place. As I've said a million times it's the best undercard in years I reckon.
  10. I'm fine with no Squid. Can't keep booking the same acts over and over.
  11. They added loads of good stuff in second and third announcement last year.
  12. Maybe can expect all of them to be Big Top Sunday when EOTR do their takeover. Very hip hop heavy.
  13. I hope AO isn't up against King Gizzard as they're the only headliner I'm remotely interested in seeing.
  14. Angel Olsen will definitely be Garden headliner imo
  15. Shame maybe? Announced after new tour has finished/sold more.
  16. Could be but I dont reckon she'll be a Garden headliner so reckon she may be a Woods sub. Edit: I dont think all 3 of Angel Olsen, Arooj Aftab and Ezra will be Garden headliners.
  17. Yeah it's missing stuff like Perfume Genius, Cate Le Bon, Deerhunter etc from recent line ups.
  18. Angel Olsen and Ezra Furman for Garden headliners imo. Reckon there's one more yet to be announced. Yuele and Overmono for late night big top.
  19. The place to discuss and predict who is playing which day and which stage.
  20. It'll be a morning announcement, right?
  21. Very believable line up. Never heard of/listened to Delgados. Which bands are they stylistically similar to?
  22. Thought Khruangbin were a shite booking when the line up was announced. Went along happy to be proven wrong seeing as they had big slots at other reputable festivals but they really were rubbish imo.
