MGMT are doing Oracular Spectacular shows. Could possibly headline this.

They're not too expensive for the Thursday I don't think. The fact they're booked for Moseley folk festival makes me think they're not super expensive.

I just think it'd be weak that's all. Wouldn't be fully against it though.

Wilco headlined back in 2012 iirc. Booking them for the same slot in 2023 would be weak. Especially as they're playing Mosely folk festival which has recently has The Waterboys and Supergrass as headliners. Thursday headliner feels right to me.

Wilco would be such an underwhelming main stage headliner but can as I've said before I could see them being a sub or Garden headliner.

Looks like Yves Tumor has new music coming. Could see them back at EOTR. Perhaps late night big top?

No idea. I just tont think BCNR would so it as don't have enough material due to not playing old stuff. I think Ezra is a good shout. Personally I'd like Death Grips.

I don't see either of BCNR or Weyes Blood as Garden headliners.

It'd have to be up against a big Woods headliner. One that appeals to the youth.

New Young Fathers tracks are great. Would be excellent Garden Stage headliners.

Pavement were brilliant (and very fun) and Primavera Sound and in London.

Saw them twice last year so won't be too gutted if they are at GM and I don't go. As long as there is a good alternative at EOTR.

I agree they're more of an EOTR booking but can't help but feel like GM may have got them.

He's definitely going to be on a main stage. Interesting how underwhelmed I was when this line up came out but still seems the best value festival in Europe in terms of depth. -
