It could well be, you need to read how these figures are compiled,
https://www.england.nhs.uk/statistics/statistical-work-areas/covid-19-hospital-activity/
The label on your graph is misleading.
I know I'm probably being a dozy twat here but the percentages of covid patients in relation to occupied beds don't seem half as bad as I imagined. I know the September data is from the 3rd and the last week has seen big increases but still. What am I missing? Could the extra 15000 occupied beds be down to covid?

Agreed. He’s the best Labour leader since Tony Blair the great man himself.
Not sure that's a compliment to be honest.

So when do we hold these people accountable for lies such as "We have the highest testing numbers in europe" when the reported number are far exaggerated if this report is how I understand it.
To be honest I stopped believing the numbers when the government went from reporting 'number of people tested' to the 'number of tests issued'. I do find it tiring though trying to navigate your way through a global pandemic when you don't believe a word that the people in charge say. What's Hancock got to do to get the boot?

How legitimate is this.
I feel like its been skipped over in the thread. But the fact the tests could actually be close to 62,000 than the recent reported 200,000, that's thousands of tests are being thrown away.
Could that mean the numbers are a lot higher than we are reporting now. It's on the Times site now:

Cancel Xmas
So you want to cancel Christmas the year after Pearl Jam stop releasing Christmas Singles? Surely that's not coincidental...what about if I have a word with Eddie?

I have found it a bit of a revelation how many people apparently don't have indoor, solo hobbys. I have far more than I ever have time for - I'm sat typing this in my study working at the PC and looking over at the half-painted Genestealers on the desk next to me!
I have an indoor solo hobby that I have been doing far too much of in lockdown!

I'm not sure whether this is a plausible scientific hypothesis or just wishful thinking but it could be another reason for the recent increase in cases.

Good article
"The commuters are revolting" and "The commuters are revolting"... a worry of the government and and an opinion of the government.

He must be in Switzerland. Sturgeon has added them to the Scottish quarantine but schnapps hasn’t added to the English quarantine.
Really f***s my parents plans over as they need to go and check on their house and carry out work. It’s literally in a village with 400 residents and there hasn’t been a single covid case.
Not great timing for your parents but probably better for the 400 residents that non locals stay out to avoid the potential spread? Not sure I'd want anyone from england coming over if I lived there.

Could it be about this? Not sure how tests can be dangerous? Thought they were pretty much just long cotton buds.

With Run The Jewels being friendly with Zack de la Rocha and Prophets Of Rage having the Friday free on their European tour could we have a RATM reunion show on the cards? Hugely optimistic I know as it would involve a fuckload of travel but they're doing a few cross country gigs and it is the Year of tha Boomerang?
When will this shit end?
