Yeah Weller was rammed last time and he was absolutely amazing, if it is him could see Heaton subbing, remember last time it was Brian Wilson! And Cribs third down, damn fine top 3 that was

Personally I’m not. Victorious seem to have a stand-alone header and he felt like the obvious one
Superstruct like to position Victorious as their crown jewel of the festivals they run, I'd say Boardmasters as well, but Victorious has much more strength in depth throughout.
So makes sense they would keep some exclusives for Victorious.
This is shown in their road to Victorious competition where bands can play the smaller fests until the big one Victorious.
Them block booking in the future makes a lot of sense, maybe even with Beni thrown in as well.

Blocked??
Happens all the time for me, comes up you are banned, I've had it nearly every other week for the past few months.

Can see Franz maybe headlining looks like they're doing Euro fests all next summer and in high slots
-
No Travis then

im just imagining how Pantera would go down at Victorious
I'd love it! First band that got me into heavier rock music.

Can't see Super Struct to be in a rush to book Richard Ashcroft and Ian Brown again after both dropped out of Tramlines.
They both dropped out of Victorious as well

Think that safely says that Tom Grennan is at Victorious.
With no Capaldi, I think Victorious is going to have the weakest line up they've had in recent years, can imagine something like Snow Patrol headlining now.
I, of course, mean my personal tastes as well.
You watch now, they go and get Pixies and The Strokes

It's safe, it's middle of the road, nothing with wow factor, but this will sell out absolutely and fast.

Just on my lunch now although I did check the announcement at 10,
I'll be honest, I don't think that announcement could be any worse for me, it's absolutely dreadful. Not one act on there I would pay to see. So I guess I'm out. The next announcement would have to be unreal to get the mind changed. Think I'll try somewhere else next year though.

That's strange? I had to proper hunt around and then it came up as "posted 4 minutes ago". How bizarre.
Just out of interest, I went on there now and it says posted 4 mins ago for me as well now. Think it must be a fault on their website.

I'm surprised a wild @JBarbour hasn't appeared

first names tomorrow.
Is Jamiroquai the lead name? Or someone else leading the names announced?

Just a quick one on this, so the sign went up Thursday/Friday....
It hasn't been covered by The News at all
EDIT: Went live on the site 4 mins ago.
It was covered the same day, I saw it on there.
Just saw The Killers announced a date in Scotland Tuesday following Victorious. I wonder....

Couldn’t see the point of doing the teaser Friday if it wasn’t today. (And I’m on training in a moment so presumed Sod’s law would say I missed it 😂)
Sometimes the teaser is up for a couple weeks!

No early paper news. Maybe they're not announcing today!

Ha, trust me I could list lots of acts I’d love…. Let’s hope there’s some really good surprises. (I really want to see The Coral though, never seen them before).
Weren't you at Viccy last time they played? I think its probably been long enough for them to be booked again.
I've seen them a few times, they're nice afternoon background music in the sun getting the drinks down you. Fun Lovin Criminals much the same as well. I feel KulaShaker would have been perfect in that spot last year but they had them subbing on Castle and it didn't really work, but I think Kulashaker was a UK exclusive and their first live show in 6 years so I can understand why they got that slot.
Really want Travis and Franz back next year man and Charlatans. Been long enough time for them all back.

Was a horrible time to not be part of a bigger group as the pandemic hit and costs have since gone up, was probably too expensive to run anymore so they've sold it on. Very difficult to book acts in this marketplace and the onsite costs.
If they stayed Independent they would likely have been able to book smaller acts and I imagine they wouldn't have been confident of selling as well doing this. Now it can be block booked across Superstruct's UK festivals, would be a situation where they book acts across a couple years so its not same acts playing everywhere in one summer, but rather play these 2 this year and these 2 next year. UK acts which is the bulk of Superstructs line ups its clever planning.

Pendulum are a good shout, they're at Download so theyre about playing live again. Although they could end up doing a DJ set.
There's always Basement Jaxx as well, they last did a live set at Victorious when they headlined Castle back in 2015, they were brilliant as well btw.
Jamiroquai are quite dancey though tbh.
Can see Years and Years subbing Jamiroquai tbh.
Have to say @sisco I think your undercard is awful! I'd watch Heaton, but wouldn't drag me there and Bloc Party and Coral I like but not fussed about seeing them again so soon. But I know you're just listed acts announced so far at other festivals, and we all know Victorious like to pull things out the bag that are unexpected. No one saw Libs as special guests, Dandy Warhols, Wolfmother, Boomtown Rats, Brian Wilson or New Order.
Hoping for some things on the line up that make you go, well that can't be missed. Or just a solid indie undercard, we need more 80s acts on the line up tbh, Bananarama earlier in the day something like that.
I'd also love to see Slaves back and if Victorious manage to pull something like The Strokes or Yeah Yeah Yeahs out the bag would be amazing

Yeah it’s a good booking as he’s been away for quite a long time. 5 or 6 massive hits and will probably get 90 mins (sure he’ll have some new stuff too). Guessing he’s the Friday older act… I guess.
Happy myself as never seen him.
Mrs ain't happy, she was already on the fence about next year and she's just said she don't fancy it unless they pull something out the bag, we hotel see and it's a lot when u think about it these days and she is saying would rather put money to going abroad.
We will see what gets announced next week.
-
Just had a look on socials and majority of people seem well happy with the booking
-
You know, I don't mind him. But I was expecting more.
Can't say I've listened to too much of his stuff outside his singles if I'm honest, he hasn't had a hit in forever either so I guess he's the big old school act for next year and I also assume he would only headline Common Stage and probably charges headliner money too.
We all knew sooner or later he would end up at Victorious, for me if he was a sub I'd be well chuffed but headliner, I can't help but feel underwhelmed. A hour set blasting the hits before someone else great.
But headline I don't think I'd want to watch near 2 hours of him.
Imagine if he's just a early special guest now 😂

Early bird ticket price finishes tonight. In my mind this price is for the hardy loyal souls who don’t need a line up to buy a ticket 😁
So I reckon more likely to get something next Friday to drive Xmas ticket sales, would be mad not to announce something pre Xmas
Early bird ticket price doesn't end tonight, just entry into the competition.
