The best bit about Sonispheres twitter was how they posted the google trends from yesterday claiming that they edged out over download, reading and leeds.

So i felt the urge to reply to them saying They only do this because they have european festivals, and are competing against uk festivals. When you look at the UK trends they dont even come close.

Strictly speaking it is £95 face value + £11 fees but that is still pretty disgusting.

I'm sure there will be a London date either way. I know a lot of smaller bands, particularly from that scene, don't bother with the UK when they visit Europe as its not worth their while, but if he's playing Dublin I'm sure he'll do London.

John Garcia is now confirmed for a festival in Croatia on the Saturday of Download, so Sunday is now the only glimmer of hope.

The only real negative compared to other festivals is the huge walk to the arena and car park.

Last year was the first time I haven't been to Reading for the whole weekend since '98. I bought a day ticket for the Friday, but then ended up buying one off a tout for the Saturday for TCV too.

If the lineup's ok I can see me going for the weekend again, but I can't see me ever camping there again. As I live fairly close I can get the train each day and not have to camp with the idiots.
