Errrr... Thursday.
-
I'm sure it'll get sorted. I just don't really relish the thought of queueing up with thousands of others in an attempt to do so.
Plus, I've got to forego my Friday lunchtime pint so I can go home and check if they've been delivered. That's just not on!
-
I just got through to See Tickets. They put me on hold for a while, and then told me that my ticket has not been dispatched, and that someone from customer services will call me back.
-
I have to be at work on monday
-
I've just been trying on 0115 912 9000, but good luck, it was either engaged or I was on hold for so long I had to get back to work. I've sent them a stroppy email now.
-
I have no idea how I'm getting home yet. Whose idea was it to have it on a Sunday when the last train home is at about 10pm?
In fact I still have no ticket, unless it's waiting for me at home.
-
I better check this out tonight. I've only just seen the 'Kyuss meets Thin Lizzy' description. Sounds like they could be my new favourite band!
-
Here's another opinion. Still not great, but at least the temperatures look a bit more realistic...
-
Me neither. Unless it's waiting for me at home. I left for work before the postie.
-
That's an improvement on when I looked yesterday. Friday looked pretty grim yesterday.
-
I bought 3 15-crates of lager from Tesco's at the weekend, 2 of which have been earmarked for Download.
I ended up buying quite a lot of my beer from the village last year so it was cold and I didn't have to carry it from the car. In fact, I went home with beer still in the boot last year as I couldn't be bothered to go and get it.
-
I was going to get a new tent at the weekend but the one I was going to get was out of stock so I might have to order it online now.
Did get a new rucksack though.
-
Just throwing it out there... I don't really like Killswitch.
-
This does suck some balls. I was looking forward to the run of Wolfmother, TCV and AC/DC.
-
Still waiting for mine too, by standard post. Despite the ticket being free I was still a tight arse and didn't want to pay extra for postage as they usually just stick special delivery through my door anyway.
-
I think it's still likely to be AC/DC 'friendly' bands. Coheed are a possibility, not sure about 36CF. It'd be nice if they moved Airbourne from Sunday, but they are playing elsewhere on Friday.
-
The Lock Up doesn't excite me very much. Might watch The Get Up Kids. That's about it. Will have to check out some of the lower bands I haven't heard of.
-
That won't work - Ticketmaster use a private carrier who will get a signature if you are in, but if you aren't they will assess the house and if they believe that its not of multiple occupancy and the post is secure once through the door they'll post it and take photos as proof of delivery.
They claim this is just as secure as signing for it.

As I looked through my pile of bills and junk mail on my return from holiday last night, the one shining light was that special ticketmaster envelope!
However, I am really starting to resent ever having to pay for Special Delivery when they just stick them through my door anyway!
-
Jim Jones Revue is one band I hadn't heard of but will be now checking out having listened to them.
Need to get hold of the Slash album too.
-
From twitter:
Just released: Opening acts are the brilliant punk band @gallowsofficial, then London rap artist @RootsManuva & rebel rockers @GogolBordello
-
They didn't make a big thing of the 30th anniversary, so I see no reason why they would for the 40th.
-
To be honest, there are more bands I want to see in half a day on Friday than the whole of Saturday.
-
They're not in Germany til the Sunday, are they?

If they're not on my doormat at lunchtime I'll be spending the afternoon on the phone I guess. Cheers for that alternative number.
