I’m sure Sean from The Blackout confirmed on his podcast that Andy has looked after them and they’ve got a good 50 minute slot.

Yungblud would be a good addition he knows how to get a crowd going and puts on a good show, he’d be a good fresh option with the future of the festival, also need Enter Shikari & Don Broco stepping up to logo slots on main stage for once.

Haha yeah that Hellfest one is absolutely stacked with logos! Was going to sell my LB Birmingham tickets if they got added but never mind.

Are all the logo slots filled now? So definitely no Limp Bizkit/Turnstile/Sum 41 to be announced in the future?

Are we fully ruling out MGK taking a 3rd down slot? He’s played DL before and has a couple of slots free to play (Thurs,Fri or Sunday I believe)

Pendulum played 3rd main stage in 2009 and didn’t need any darkness to have a great time, obviously for a stage show experience it’s better for darkness but it’s not a big deal.

He’s subbing Sum 41 on the 2nd stage at Hellfest, I could see him accepting a 3rd down hour slot at Download to be honest, he’s played Download before as well in 2017 when he had 0 pop punk behind him 3rd down on the 2nd stage, love him or hate him he’ll put on hell of a show.

I don’t think they sold out 15K at Cardiff cricket ground, could be wrong but pretty sure it didn’t sell out. *Capacity listed as just over 15K, would be slightly more with pitch standing. Edit: Just saw that Ed Sheeran was actually on in the Principality Stadium the same night as My Chemical Romance, but don’t think they’d have much cross over in fans to affect ticket sales?

I wouldn’t mind some Ice Nine Kills, I Prevail & Deez Nuts showing up. We definitely ruling out ADTR as another headliner? Seems strange they haven’t rearranged their arena tour/SD venue shows from 2020.

I never understand the Biffy aren’t a Download band, clearly are they’ve had the most appearances for one, and they put on one hell of a show everytime.

Blink offered to play Trees but the festival couldn’t afford them so had to say no, but obviously without Tom.
