  1. I just pressed F5 randomly and struck lucky. BTW : I used Magical "Autofill" and programmed #1 ,#2 etc as reg nos and postcodes so when I got to the booking page it was simply #1 [tab] #2 [tab] etc and the form was filled in rather than trying to cut-n-paste them in.
  2. Nope - Halifax. I approved the payment in the banking app, and got booking complete screen with the ref no. And an email confirming I was lead booker with four other tickets. No-one else has received an email and it's just sat "Pending" in the bank Account - with no way to push it through from my end..
  3. I might not be out of the woods yet - I've got the order confirmation email but the payment is stuck at "Pending" with the bank....I get the horrible feeling I'm going to be contacting customer services in the morning.
  4. Yup, the whole groups in this time, and with two newbies Who couldn't resist after me droning on about how good it is... Was horrible though and I might need to lie down until my heartrate & blood pressure drops. Makes it Number 10 for me.
  5. That was scary sh*t - 3 PC's and all had the white screen of death at 18:01. Ignored one and started F5'ing the other two frantically... At 18:04 looked at the other and it was at the booking page - 5 x Thursday coach tickets in the bag at 18:06. Forget auto-refresh, get something that fills in the boxes for you with a hot-key, it literally took me 10 seconds to fill in all 10 boxes and click proceed (no risk of typo's either). Banking app took a while to auth though which did give me 2022 auth-fail flashbacks, but all's good.. I'm back to the farm for my 10th, and I'm taking 2 newbies from work with me...
  6. Anyone can pay the balance payment in April - lead booker has to pay deposit. so long as card is valid at time of payment you'll be ok.
  7. Just had to go for another pee - probably need another one by 18:00
  8. It appears that I can be in Latvia and still access the site Saves reconfiguring my torrenting PC
  9. VyprVPN here via pfsence + adblock. I'll give it a try, must remember to stick it back on afterwards...
  10. Bugger - looks like I'll be doing a quick reconfiguration on pfsence before the sale
  11. depends on how many other devices you are using - think you get blocked if more than 1 refresh per second. How quick can you respond if the page changes in case it doesn't stop refreshing - set it to slightly more than that.
  12. Quick VPN question - one of my PC's is setup to only work using a VPN. If I access the site from a VPN exit point do they care?
  13. Thinned down this year after realizing I can't cope with more than 3 devices at a time. 1) Laptop VPN'd into work as they have a thick internet pipe. 2) Laptop on home network (Virgin) - connected with a network cable for a little less lag. 3) Desktop VPN'd into Europe (usually my bittorrent PC so has permanent VPN running) 4) Phone to keep an eye on here..
  14. No - certainly Leicester, Nottingham, Stoke only have a day to choose - no times...
  15. Best thing about the coach - is Monday, Crawl to the coach park, get on coach, sleep until services, use a real toilet, get back on coach, sleep until home. How I drove home in 2017 without getting pulled or crashing I'll never know, I hadn't slept since Saturday night when I drove off site very early Monday morning - Never trying that ever again.....
  16. To confirm - if you're in multiple groups... If you get to the payments page all the reg nos will be locked to allow the transaction to go through, if it fails it can take up to 10 minutes for that lock to clear - I know this from last years sale when my bank verification timed out and we got the message that the registrations were locked as a transaction was in progress.. If you have multiple reg nos with the same email address/postcode and you manage to buy two tickets - one will be cancelled within a couple of days - I know this from 2017 sales when I forgot to update my reg number with a friends group and ended up with two tickets - I got a snotty email from seetickets and luckily only one ticket was cancelled. If one of your group bags a ticket for you - when you get to the booking page you get a message saying you already have a ticket. If you get a coach ticket tonight your reg number is locked out of Sundays sale and the Campervan pitch sale as well.
  17. After last sale - make sure you use a debit card you know works with your banking app - got caught out with that one last year..... Will be 100% using the one I know worked for Springsteen tickets a couple of weeks ago... Also doesn't hurt to run a manual "windows update" today so it doesn't try kicking off during the sale tomorrow. I've also added seetickets.com to my "trusted sites" in ublock origin and a couple of other apps I've got as extensions in chrome.
  18. I must have checked my registration is still valid 20 times, rechecked the google sheet with our groups numbers & postcodes in and checked my payment card is good for 6 x deposits etc... Swapped shifts for tomorrow so I'll be home for 17:00 and cleared the diary for Saturday night and Sunday morning.... Having missed out this year due to the payments page crashing - I'm proper bricking it in case the same happens on T-Day... Having sleep Apnea and a bad back probably rules out working the festival for a ticket...
  19. in last coach resale - I'd got to booking page for my city but no availability so flicked round a couple of other locations and I got through on Taunton but failed at payment page. The locations where you can book a single probably have more coaches departing so better chance of getting one there. Personally I'm only trying for my home city and the one where my parents live if that's not available. Seems like cheating to go somewhere miles away from where you live to get a "green" coach ticket to the festival. Plus getting home on the Monday is going to be horrible.....
  20. I'll still be rechecking mine again before the registration window closes - just in case....... Fortunately managed to swap shifts so I finish work at 5PM on the new coach ticket sale date (after much piss-taking from my colleagues - who don't understand the FOMO T-day invokes).
  21. So its more of a GDPR issue - the data must be accurate and up to date. Where I work we're always having to ask customers to update stuff and regularly delete people from the systems when they fill in the "I want to be forgotten" box....
  22. The answers clear - someone at See obviously ran "delete if reg_number older than 2023 and postcode not in (Liverpool)" on the database and got caught.
  23. So I caved and bought Springsteen tickets this morning via Ticketmaster. The Queue worked and I got to the "choose your tickets" bit easily enough - then the fun began. Could I buggery get to pay for them, ended up having to use paypal as it wouldn't accept any of my credit/debit cards - or rather it would until I got to the bank auth app bit where I validated the payment, the banks said "yes" but Ticketmaster said "no"... Finally got them and then a raft of declined payments messages from my bank. FFS : Hope that's not knackered my cards for T-day.... And to add insult to injury - 2 x e-tickets = almost £40 in fees.
  24. I looked at the webcam at lunchtime - the area around the pyramid looks pretty waterlogged.....
