  1. I'd checked this online a few days back & looks to be this one, https://www.tmb.cat/en/barcelona-fares-metro-bus/single-and-integrated/t-casual
  2. Well thank the lord you ain't one of the festival bookers.
  3. I was there too - great London festival & hope it continues - I thought Alex G was very average live (but like him on record), I purposely skipped Gilla Band as I'll be making sure to see them at (the very loud) Dice Stage. Finished the day watching Two Shell, who were good. Look forward to Caroline Polachek at Primavera.
  4. But Friday, Saturday & ALL of Weekend 2 were fine. I have faith this year will be ok. Please!
  5. I think every act with the exception of Depeche Mode (maybe Pet Shop Boys), have the standard festival time slot. I don't think Depeche Mode are doing any other festivals, I'm guessing Primavera bagged them this year because of the 2 sites in Barcelona & Madrid, so as far as DM are concerned it's just another tour date, which is good news for DM fans!
  6. Me too. I went in for Tim Hecker around the same time a few years back as Rosalia was coming on, I was walking against what felt like half of Barcelona entering the site, but the Auditori at that time had loads of space.
  7. If they've not reduced the capacity then slightly concerned by that map, but I'll remain optimistic (as for sound bleeds the timetable suggests that won't be an issue). On the plus side (and rather unbelievably), very little that clashes for me. Sat has the most, and is the day I had the least to see, go figure.
  8. Well that was nice & painless - even the queuing system worked - Ticketmaster need to learn a few lessons from Primavera I think - just hope it all works ok when on site, but no issues last year & even work offline so fingers crossed!
  9. Well, it begins. The good problem of do I see Pet Shop Boys in a tiny club, or see them on site & then free up a potential Japanese Breakfast clash on the Friday by seeing them at an equally great venue on Sunday. Oh the dilemma.
  10. Stuck the Coachella livestream on & the Fred Again, Skrillex, Four Tet set looks like a proper party - I know they are making up for an absent Frank Ocean, but if Primavera is anything like this then it's a must see for me
  11. Crazy. I've seen he injured his ankle too. But from word of mouth, YouTube clips, Twitter etc (and speaking as a big fan) - I think no Frank Ocean at Primavera is better than Frank Ocean at Primavera
  12. John Cale too on the Saturday - can't wait to see him. Plus My Morning Jacket & St Vincent.
  13. What are folks thoughts on the new Depeche Mode? Admittedly I'm taking more of an interest because of the Primavera booking, even though I'm a fan of their 80s/90s stuff, but it sounds pretty strong & I've heard they don't really do 'greatest hits' when it comes to their setlists
  14. Just noticed that Rakim is playing UK 3rd June onwards, rescheduled dates, what a booking that would be!
  15. Reading everyones suggestions I'm thinking this day is going to be a clash nightmare - I'll add PinkPatheress into the mix if not already noted - great having her back on the lineup.
  16. if you had quoted me you'll see I put each to their own, absolutely no finger pointing at people who think Mad Cool is better. I'm laughing at the line up poster & the fact that in the run up to the Primavera annoucement there was a lot of comparison with the 2 festivals, or at least the lineups, which now that both have been revealed is a bit of a head scratcher. And yes, Primavera is my football team 🙂
  17. hahahaha, that Mad Cool poster is horrific, I mean each to their own but how is that even in the same ballpark as Primavera - Robbie Williams, Sam Smith & Liam Gallagher?! - I'd rather Calvin & Skrillex, thanks! It's either Primavera repeats like Lizzo, Angel Olsen, Rina Sawayama & Jamie XX or headliner by numbers QOTSA, RHCP, The Prodigy.
  18. Am I the only one to miss we have an Elijah Wood DJ Set on the Sat?? https://ew.com/article/2015/01/27/elijah-woods-wooden-wisdom-project-proves-hes-more-than-just-a-celebrity-dj/
  19. This is where I pat myself on the back for getting a Tuesday flight, not Wednesday. Will happily get to the forum early if they don't offer priority passes for ticket holders.
  20. I'd argue that this edition is more stacked than 2022 for me, and that is including the 2 weekends I attended. I found myself discovering a lot more in the build up to 2022, whereas by comparison this year I'm already anxious about the pile up that is Thursday & Friday... Darkside, Le Tigre, NXWORRIES, Turnstile, Alex G, Arthur Verocai, Boris, Emeralds, Perfume, PinkPantheress, Sudan Archives, Kendrick, Depeche Mode, Four Tet, Sparks, Alvvays, Daphni, Japanese Breakfast, Julia Holter, The Delgados, Karate, Julia Jacklin, Unwound, Beth Orton & Soul Glo... ooft! Saturday maybe a bit less crowded (or at least with the bigger names I've already seen live), but still FKA Twigs, St Vincent, My Morning Jacket, Death Grips, Ezra Furman, Gilla Band, John Cale, Laurie Anderson, JPEGMAFIA & Two Shell. Thank god Pet Shop Boys are clash free on the Wednesday.
  21. Really baffled by people trashing Calvin Harris & Skrillex (it’s not like they’ve booked the Black Eyed Peas!) & somehow not getting hyped by Kendrick, Rosalia, Depeche Mode, Sparks, Pet Shop Boys, Anderson.Paak, Le Tigre, FKA Twigs, Boris, The Delgados, John Cale, Beth Orton, My Morning Jacket, Soul Glo, Gilla Band… as eclectic & far reaching as always!! …not to mention Turnstile, Japanese Breakfast, Perfume, Sudan Archives & Arthur Verocai(!) all being rebooked. Very strong lineup for me.
  22. I'm really hoping we get the return of artists who had to cancel in 21/22 - Sudan Archives, Madlib (& Freddie Gibbs?), Jessica Pratt, Turnstile, Sparks, Arthur Verocai & Japanese Breakfast. Headliners - Frank Ocean, Portishead, Kendrick, Pet Shop Boys, New Order. Too much to ask for quintessential Primavera bands that don't tour outside the US like Ween & The Feelies? Would love some new & repeats like Fever Ray, Open Mike Eagle, Gilla Band, Deerhoof, Chat Pile, Alex G, Kevin Morby, Party Dozen, US Girls, Devo, Converge, Snail Mail, Helado Negro, Alvvays, The Delgados & Broken Social Scene. Bring on Tuesday!!
  23. I'll be doing the Barcelona one for sure - Madrid a definite no, even though you technically get 4 line ups out of the 1
  24. I have faith that the complaints / comments will be acknowledged this year, I've never seen a more negative response to an edition of Primavera Sound (even 2011 wasn't this bad) - and with Twitter & other social platforms the customer has a louder voice. I will say this is the first year I've not had the post Primavera blues, that 2nd Weekend (and 11 nights of drinking) broke me!
