So Access Ticket jumped straight onto my query & said the below. As the other person on here suggested, deleting the app or a reset seems to fix - but bottom line it sounds like the old school wristband combined with the App for 2022... The original QR of the ticket won't be necessary anymore as all access will be with Access Ticket, the app will work without wifi once you create the QR, but if something like a non loading bug appears Primavera Sound will have wifi to solve this situation!

but my thinking is the app QR code replaces the credit card we've had in previous years in addition to the wristband, the one that is scanned at the turnstile gates at the forum. 2019 feels so long ago & I can't remember if we had them then? I know I've still got a few older ones from previous years.

Thanks. Yes, my thoughts too re the internet signal at the gates, would be good to get an option to download to a smart phone wallet, or screenshot. Just need the ticket back first. I've messaged them either way & any relevant news I'll post back.

Boring non line up related question but anyone else having issues with the AccessTicket App & it not loading the QR code correctly? I've completed the security checks so good to go, but now when I open the app the spinning wheel appears & doesn't load up anything in 'My events'. I'm imagining this happening to numerous people when scanning at the entrance gates & it being chaos if this is replacing the old credit card system we used to have. Not sure if that has been confirmed anywhere?

I dunno, on one hand I'd be a hypocrite to have a pop at people throwing their arms up at these last minute changes - but after the last 2 years I'm baffled people aren't just grateful the festival is happening at all, whether it be 10 or 100 artists. That being said, if Big Jeff ain't there I'll be gutted!

Yeah definitely no crazy rush for either of these - the only few times I got to the Auditori early was stuff like Sufjan Stevens / Kamasi Washington & the Sufjan one was ticketed anyway - as the above post has said 15mins before & you are golden.

Agreed. I really hope Primavera don't waste the cash on Arcade Fire if that is a possibility - they could book 4-5 great smaller acts (at a guess) for the money they'd throw away on Arcade Fire (coming from someone who was down the front at their 2014 show).

Have to say the excitement is getting very real now, almost a bit nervous it's SO close! Been a bit behind with the line up & I'm discovering so much great stuff (I'm sure repeating things here but...) Angel Bat Dawid, Moonchild Sanelly, Arooj Aftab, IC3PEAK, Pom Pom Squad, John Glacier, KOKOKO! are now all must sees, plus everything else from weekend 1. One month to go!!

Already checked in to the 1st June EasyJet & return flights! Starting to feel like 2022 could be the year we finally get back to the festival!

Jockstrap gig in Margate last night was fantastic- so much energy live, really hope they make it to Barcelona on the 6th

Happy to read this, literally just giving them a listen now (KOKOKO!) & sound great. Gutted about Jessica Pratt, Turnstile & Perfume, but Mdou Moctar is a fantastic addition & also brilliant live.

Just registered mine on the app, pretty quick - just need to download an app, create login & upload photo of ID - guess it saves you doing all of that on site before the festival but not great for people without smart phones

Did anyone get the validation email this month for tickets? Got an email back at the start of Feb (even though I have my upgrade tickets) - talking about the bar credit, book & t-shirt per ticket + saying the below, but nothing as yet... To speed up the ticket validation process, during the month of March you will receive a link that will take you directly to the download page of the application that will be used to verify your ticket.
