I love country and americana and all that carry on. I'm shock to the core about the price though for a festival nobody's barely heard of.

Afternoon all, has anyone been before? I'm really into Americana and Country music and this place looks cracking if a little expensive. Got a few other questions for anyone planning on attending.

So were arriving in Campervans East on Tuesday and my friend who is a teacher can only arrive on Wednesday evening. She has to also leave Sunday evening, she will drive down and park then leave. So a few questions: Where can she park that's nearest to Campervans East (I know most carparks aren't very close) Will she be OK to get her wristband then gain access to the campervan fields without a pass in/out? It's hard to get solid information, and I know they're super strict on the passes in and out of the CV fields. Thanks in advance.

I must admit a few times last year I felt TOO hot, but then one afternoon where it got cloudy and rained lightly for 10 mins - It reminded me just how terrible it could be at a rainy one.

Being a really dirty show off here, but just paid our final amount for our first Campervan, cannot wait to drive onto Worthy Farm in it.

Surely we don't get as lucky this year, you don't get 25c+ all weekend 2 years in a row surely.

All personal preference isn't it, I do agree first 3 were fantastic. I do think all their albums have at least 3/4 bangers on them though, would love them there this year.

We enjoyed Avalon Inn but queued for 45 mins in what was effectively a high quality sauna. Like others we mostly supped our own cans, we also had great few hair of the dog hours in a pub that was white cladded wood building, pretty big? But can't for the life remember the name.

Bouncers wont let me in, not even had a drink.

So for the campervans (I got them last year but stupidly forgotten) I just need one bookers Glastonbury registration details?

The food options are genuinely endless mate, you can spend £5 up to £17 quid for a meal. There is an initiative on certain stalls site-wide that offer £5 meals or there was last year, I found that a little hit and miss, some you'd get a really good portion, others abit of a piss-take. Everyone has their different ways - but we'd make brekky at camp then have a snack round lunch (share something) then main meal on the evening, so it wasn't insanely pricy. Beers from memory were about £6/£6.50 a pint, again we'd chuck loads of cans in a rucksack each for the day, with a decent cool bag inside a rucksack they'd last until we ran out. I'd only have 2/3 pints a day from the vendors.

Well I suppose it entirely depends on individuals situations, for example we've got a small mortgage, both earning 40k+ and no kids. So even with bills we've luckily got a fair bit of disposable income. We share a Car (Nothing flashy) that's a small monthly payment etc. Like anyone though we noticed the pinch with increase in energy bills etc, but just tried to act accordingly.

Done lots of festivals, but first Glastonbury last year. 0 chance I'd do it in a tent, lucky enough to campervan it and it's just so much comfier. Need to sleep really well after the insane walking.

We arrived Tuesday last year around 10am, it was pretty packed already in the Campervan field. We were about 20 minutes walk from the gate into the Festival. We'd probably give Tuesday a miss and arrive Thursday this year, but just can't bear to be any further back than this year.

Feel bad gloating but 5 tickets for us, second year - two in a row. Good luck everyone.
