    I'm heading off as well. I'm only doing the last day for Alt-J and Interpol. Before then I've got Interpol gigs in Prague, Vienna, Bucharest and Belgrade. 

    So on the last day, if you see anyone wearing a Croatian football shirt waving a big EU flag with "INTERPOL" painted on it, that would be me.

    I think the amount of tickets being sold on their is testament to how people view the lineup! I did see that on the post they made the other day about Clean Bandit and Rita Ora playing, it was just comment after comment about how poor it actually is. 

    Also, only the 5 day pass is actually sold out. 7 day passes ten a penny it seems. 

    Anyway, if anyone wants to make me an offer on a 7 day ticket... go for it.

    I liken it  to F1 tyres

    Softs- Trainers

    Intermediates- waterproof hiking boots

    Wets- Wellies.

    For U.K. and Northern European festivals, I always take all three 'compounds' as it were.

     

     

    This weekend I could just leave the wellies in the car, but you never know what's going to happen.

    We did this at Beacons one year, Bloody Mary's with Dave's Ultimate Insanity Sauce. Shook the hangover I can tell you that.

    Now then, I'm pretty picky about what beer I drink. I do like a good craft ale, and I can't say no to a solid continental lager, and I fucking hate Tuborg.

    Or, alternatively, it'll be a bunch of people who got tickets when they went on sale because it's a famous band who they know three songs by.

    Seen Arcade Fire in Manchester plenty of times, Academy 05, both nights at the Apollo in 07, MEN 07, G-Mex 10, MEN 11 etc. 

    More times than not, talkers in the crowd utterly ruin it. Every time I've been to one of these Castlefield gigs it's full of nobs anyway.

    Castlefield bowl will be 10000x better than that.

    As if people at Castlefield Bowl won't talk through everything apart from Wake Up, Power Out, and Rebellion.
