Is this a new feature that shows these at the top of the page above the normal forums on the forums home page
https://www.efestivals.co.uk/forums/
And can it be disabled or change the default so it's not visible?

Not at all.
I certainly won't be!
Seriously?
This place really is turning into a left wing echo chamber.
Respect should be given to all.

Same situation as the UK...

We had good reason . Pretty much all I’m adding not going into specifics .
Surely the crap on this thread lately is as bad
Woeful moderation or is it only certain views you all silence?

The big downside of mycause is the charitable donation - your chosen charity will receive £30 for your 24 hours of work.
Yup, someone is making a lot of money 🤑

True dat!
Of course, it would be crazy to think everything gets found that is prohibited on site... but security certainly got loads there!

Completely unenforced but I guess they can pretend they care eh
You never saw the huge haul of confiscated ones they had at Finsbury over the 2 weekends last July!

Live Nation / FR events have all kinds of horrendous sponsors e.g. disposable vapes
They are now banned across all FR shows

These guesses are brilliant...
Gonna be different for sure 😊

Permanent as in never-allowed-to-darken-our-doors-ever-again-permanent? Or sit on the naughty corner for a bit type permanent?
Harsh if the former. I joined efests over 15 years ago, I don't remember the 'terms' and I'm pretty sure there wasn't a 'gold member' option back then so it must have been updated since I joined. Was Baz given the chance to revisit the 'terms' and apologise before being kicked off site?
Baz is an irritant but I've found him a useful irritant which has led to me challenging my thinking on some subjects. Don't tend to agree with a lot of his world view, but I don't think he's a deliberate troll. He can be a f**king wind-up at times but I've also been on the thread long enough to see him change his own mind and apologise when challenged. A pity to see him booted.
Agreed.

you sign up to them when you join
To be fair that was 20 years ago and I'd have thought they would have been changed since then 🤣

I would say the line up is getting way too shouty (not my thing) but I won't as I would get accused of complaining.
You literally just have 🤣

Barry has broken the forum rules on multiple occasions and the moderation team has decided that a permanent ban was needed on this occasion
Where are these rules?

We are having to stay in a Premier Inn this year as wife doesn't want to camp. Not sure if we will be driving over for Thursday 😒
😆Is it bed & breakfast? AYCE buffet?

Web Version MORE NAMES COMING NEXT WEEK! 🙌
Our full Thursday opening party line-up is coming on TUESDAY! Make sure you tune in to see what's on offer for the early arrivals 👽
Until then, here's a little reminder of who'll be joining us (…so far!) in less than 4 months! Can you believe it?! We'll be back in those fields before you know it. -

To be fair, I've not looked at the Bearded Theory Fanatics group as I thought it was just a rename of the old one, which was a bit of a cesspit. Full of negative posts on just about everything that suggested any sort of change.
I'll check it out (as the kids say).
Nope, it was a group that was started a long time ago and became busier when the old fan one got closed.
Yes that was an issue with the old one, but the new one as it's name suggests is for Bearded Theory Fanatics, anyone who isn't interested, or wants to slate it ie not a fan... shouldn't be there! -

I second that re fanatics, perfectly friendly and also not an official group with normal punters as admins.
But you did not book until you know, and moaned about, the line up....................... tomato, tomatoMaybe @Chrisp1986 can start his own Facebook Group, maybe calling it Bearded Theory Moaners..... there's a few that should definitely be members there 😋

Am still sticking with my orginal statement that I believe there is still one pallet headliner to be announced still.

Licence has always included the Thursday for a long time now, wouldn't need changing.

There is a Facebook group called Fanatics, however it is not the most friendly. The official one closed down last year as admin were inundate with direct questions which they did not have time to answer being volunteers.
Firstly Fanatics is friendly, secondly the one that was closed down wasn't official and was also fan based.

Nope they’re still there I think, they also built the stupid “Lounge” thing too which swallows up more camping
Nope no silent discos in the campsites. The lounge was literally tiny, took up hardly any room.

Lol awww you poor thing, who did that on what page?

Nothing like it. It's outdoor, with led roof, not steel.
The lighting is being done by Colour Sound Experiment and a lot of other techy people that's putting a lot of effort into it
