Far from every other line up. The vast majority do stage splits much later and day splits can come from day of announcement to a week before.

Agreed, a lot that do day splits early are festivals that sell day tickets.

As Bearded don't do then (once before), then it's not as important to know who's on what day.

If a commercial festival in july hasnt announced by now having not sold out in advance then surely its cancelled?

it would need to be this week at the absolute latest

And its in August, and I've just been confirmed to work it.

If main predictions are correct then it will be colder and wetter.

The Gulf Stream will weaken and likely move meaning we get a more Japan like climate with very cold winters.

    Enjoy

Whats the prediction for Goa? It's where I spend the winter..get here on a big guzzly aeroplane ✈️

  4. What a sh*t state of affairs UK politics and the way the HoC behaves is embarrassing.

Even Goans and Indians here are baffled by it all and that says alot when the have Modi here!

They are light shows and primarily lights down from the roof...I would expect that....it's not any led display is it. Coachella had this for example in the Sahara.

You tell me, you're the one who came on thinking it was R&Ls version of Steelyard.

Wait and see how it looks..

Right....who cares about an LED roof if the performance is infront. It's actually Vegas' freemont street meets Reading then. With freemont though, you actually go because the roof is the attraction with background music.

It's not a new concept, overhead LED screens, visual art, decor etc has been around a while, it's just a new concept of it.

Like these recent ones, except it's on a much larger scale and not a solid structure.... I was lucky to work at both these  (Cream 2022 version) and they were both very impressive, especially the Soundstorm one that was able to lower and raise huge sections of it.

Guess we will see how it works out, especially with live acts and not just DJ's

So essentially Chevron stage is Reading's version of Creamfields Steel Yard.

Nothing like it. It's outdoor, with led roof, not steel.

The lighting is being done by Colour Sound Experiment and a lot of other techy people that's putting a lot of effort into it

Surely the crap on this thread lately is as bad

Woeful moderation or is it only certain views you all silence?

Yup, someone is making a lot of money 🤑

Permanent as in never-allowed-to-darken-our-doors-ever-again-permanent? Or sit on the naughty corner for a bit type permanent?

Harsh if the former. I joined efests over 15 years ago, I don't remember the 'terms' and I'm pretty sure there wasn't a 'gold member' option back then so it must have been updated since I joined. Was Baz given the chance to revisit the 'terms' and apologise before being kicked off site?

Baz is an irritant but I've found him a useful irritant which has led to me challenging my thinking on some subjects. Don't tend to agree with a lot of his world view, but I don't think he's a deliberate troll. He can be a f**king wind-up at times but I've also been on the thread long enough to see him change his own mind and apologise when challenged. A pity to see him booted.

    Agreed.
