if it was visibly well-managed the manager wouldn't have to be putting out documents to show that it works to a plan.

What documents have been put out Neil?

Not even sure what your actual point is here, are you having another episode?

pretty bang in the middle if you ask me

i can't say i'm doing invested where it is, just a bit surprised and i'm sure its logically the best place - but it definitely is bang in the middle!

You never mentioned the actual entrance on your post or Google Map link, plus am not sure you highlighting the area where all the allotments and the garden centre actually counts as part of the park

filling  on site is always a bad idea cos there's always a queue and a big muddy puddle to stand in, and people wanting to wash their hands after the loos - and its always a chore to move a big container full of heavy water across rough ground.

Never a problem on the Tuesday afternoon, we did it a couple years ago with no issue.

There once was a time when I thought Sziget would be worth a week trip to Budapest and cross it off a musical bucket list. Think I can say that time has gone.

We did the same for Exit in Serbia, 2012/13 I think it was, went sh*t not long after

It looked easy in '95 even before the fence came down. People climbing over all over the place.

It was, it was impossible to deter everyone who tried to get over, so much dodgy characters about, not enough security and poor infrastructure back then.

We wandered around outside one year near the travellers field, our crew camp was near the old WBC crew camp over near Gate C.

When walking around, we seen a gap in the fence and some dodgy scouser charging £20 each to get in, it was only when we showed him our security wristband and crew band, did he let us in without charging us! 🤣

Yes....where the Crown was sponsored by Budweiser if I remember correctly.

Indeed. I was the security supervisor in their one year, I think 2004?

It was one of the times England got knocked out a major football tournament

As do Red and Blue Gates.

Don't *think* each of the individual vehicle gates have their own (the ones I've worked on certainly didn't anyway), and instead are covered by the relevant Red/Blue Gate Manager.

Yes they will fall into a zone.

Not sure what I would get, but arrival day is the Saturday, commence on the Sunday till the following Monday.

All pedestrian gates I’ve stewarded have gate managers, dealt with plenty of them over the years. Pretty friendly bunch overall and a useful escalation point when you are supervising.

Yes it's not a new role, been around for years.

They coordinate the wristbanders, stewards, security etc and report in to Event Control regarding flow rates, ingress figures, infrastructure issues etc

    Nice.

That'd be an excellent role to get. The gate managers seem to stick around for years.

Fingers crossed, find out in next couple of weeks hopefully.
