Sounds awesome although I don't take to well to the heat. In other news we have moved into our housing association place. We have very little furniture but it definitely feels like home, although we have no hot water or heating until Tuesday and it is a tad chilly.

I must admit to feeling more than a little worried. I get the LCWA enhancement. At best I can semi function and at worst I have panic attacks, hear voices and self harm. We have the keys to our housing association place. On Monday we get a delivery of beds and white goods through s resettlement grant. The place is on the 3rd floor which will be a challenge but the location is right near Withington library. Happy as Larry 🙂

I was on WTC while self employed. Much of my work was seasonal such as at festivals and the Royal Mail at Christmas. The most you could receive was 80 quid a week (about the same as dole) but all calculations were done basing your hours at the minimum wage. I can see your point but without WTC I wouldn't have been able to do a lot of my work. It helped subsidosis my work as a counsellor when I qualified before my stroke.

I have said this before. Armistice Day is a perfect day for people to protest for peace.

Just got back from the Manchester Markets. I noticed a bigger presence by GMP. First time I have seen armed officers walking through the crowds. I did ask one copper if I could stroke his gun. Silence from him maybe he isn't bi curious 😉 Anywho we have seen the new flat and while it is tad small compared to how I sprawl with my stuff the area is fuking awesome. So looking forward to moving in with a secure tenancy:-)

They are all over Manchester if you look for them. Most rough sleepers on their own take them down during the day I feel a little guilty when I say this but I have a viewing for a 2 bed place near the Christie hospital. Quite a nice area and I have only been on the homeless lost for a year.
