Womadelaide 2012


WOMAD returns to celebrate WOMADelaide's 20th anniversary at the Botanic Park, Adelaide, in South Australia, and is held from Friday 9th to Monday 12th March 2012 as part of the WOMAD series of music festivals. WOMAD events are a showcase of all different sorts of music, arts and dance for 20,000 people per day.

The festival also has ATM machines, and a global village of merchandise stalls and workshops for adults and children.

Opening hours

Friday - gates open 4:30pm, performances are on from 6pm-1am.
Saturday - gates open at 11am, performances are on from midday-1am.
Sunday - gates open at 11am, performances are on from midday-midnight.
Monday – gates open at 11am, performances are on from midday-midnight.

Accommodation

This is a non-camping event, Adelaide offers a range of accommodation options, and is on international flight routes.
