WOMAD Sicily 2010

WOMAD has moved! It will be taking place in Villa Filipina, Piazza San Francesco di Paola 18 in Palermo on the Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th September 2010.

Thursday: Ipercussonici (Italy), Akkura (Italy), Sicilian Jazz Orchestra (Italy)
Friday: Lo Còr de la Plana (France), Trilok Gurtu (India), Orchestre National de Barbés (Morocco/Algeria/France)
Saturday: Rachid Taha (Algeria/France), Rizwan Muazzam Qawwali (Pakistan), 17 Hippies (Germany), Orchestre Baobab (Senegal)
Sunday: Dobet Gnahoré (Cote D'Ivoire), Roy Paci (Sicily).

There is no camping available for WOMAD Sicily, there are a range of accommodation options in and around Palermo.

The festival also has a global village of merchandise stalls and workshops for adults and children.
