Wath Festival 2015


This four day festival of music and dance includes several concerts at Montgomery Hall which take place both in the afternoon and in the evening. Past years have included other events like ceilidhs and sing-arounds the week before the festival too. The dates for the 43rd Wath Festival are over Mad Day Bank Holiday weekend from Friday 1st until Monday 4th May.

Line-up

The first of 40 acts to be confirmed are Eddi Reader, While and Matthews, Blackbeard's Tea Party, Bob Fox, Rusty Shackle, Phillip Henry and Hannah Martin, Greg Russell & Ciaran Algar, Geoff Lakeman, Annabelle Chvostek, Sam Kelly, Rob Heron and the Tea Pad Orchestra, Steve Tilston, Hannah Cumming, Melissa Greener, Patsy Reid Band, and Ranagri.

Early bird ticket are priced at £70 for the weekend, add £20 for a weekend camping. For all concerts, one child up to the age of 11 will be allowed free entry with every adult ticket purchased.

Public Transport

Swinton station is under 2 miles from Wath upon Dearne. Sheffield bus station is under ten miles away for coaches.

Camping

Camping is available priced at around £20 for a full weekend camping, or alternatively around £10 per night on Friday, Saturday or Sunday.
