Wath Festival 2009


This weekend festival of music and dance includes several concerts at Montgomery Hall which take place both in the afternoon and in the evening. Past years have included other events like ceilidhs and sing-arounds the week before the festival too.

This year's line up includes The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain, The Demon Barber's Roadshow, Chumbawamba, The Karine Polwart Trio, Rachel Harrington & Zak Borden, Rory McLeod, Clive Gregson, Pete Morton, Cathryn Craig & Brian Willoughby, Chris While & Joe Broughton, Chris & Kellie While, The Rosie Doonan Band, Tom Bliss, Katriona Gilmore & Jamie Roberts, Les Barker, and more.

An adult weekend pass to all concerts is priced at £60.
A Day ticket Saturday or Sunday is priced at £25.
Friday evening concerts are priced at £15 each, and Saturday or Sunday evening concerts are priced at £16.50 each.
Afternoon concerts are priced at £11 each concert.

Swinton station is under 2 miles from Wath upon Dearne. Sheffield bus station is under ten miles away for coaches.
