Wath Festival 2010

This six day festival of music and dance includes several concerts at Montgomery Hall which take place both in the afternoon and in the evening. Past years have included other events like ceilidhs and sing-arounds the week before the festival too. The dates for the 2010 Wath Festival are from Wednesday 28th April until Monday 3ed May.

Line-up

This year's line up includes Lau, The Bad Shepherds, The Heidi Talbot Trio with Boo Hewerdine and John McCusker, The Lonnie Donegan Band featuring Peter Donegan, Stacey Earle and Mark Stuart, Chris Sherburn & Denny Bartley, Steve Tilston & Dave Bowie, Sarah McDougall & Tim Tweedale, Ella Edmondson, John Tams & Barry Coope, Kevin Dempsey & Joe Broughton, Elbow Jane, The Carrivick Sisters, Holly Taymar, and more.

Tickets

A full weekend early bird ticket is priced at £60. A day ticket for Saturday or Sunday is priced at £25, with a Friday evening ticket priced at £14. Tickets for Saturday or Sunday afternoon only are priced at £12, and a Saturday or Sunday evening only ticket is priced at £16. Swinton station is under 2 miles from Wath upon Dearne. Sheffield bus station is under ten miles away for coaches.
