Wath Festival 2011

This six day festival of music and dance includes several concerts at Montgomery Hall which take place both in the afternoon and in the evening. Past years have included other events like ceilidhs and sing-arounds the week before the festival too. The dates for the 2010 Wath Festival are from Wednesday 27th April until Monday 2nd May.

Line-up

This year's line up will include Frances Black, Tannahill Weaver, McCusker/Drever/Woomble, Chris Wood, Uiscedwr, Kieran Halpin, John Tams & Barry Coope, Elbow Jane, Anna Shannon, Kris Drever, Jez Lowe, Bernard Wrigley, Charlie Barker & Harriet Bartlett, and Holly Taymar & ukulele workshop.

Tickets

A full weekend early bird ticket is priced at £54 (full price from 30th March - £60). A day ticket for Saturday or Sunday is priced at £25, with a Friday evening ticket priced at £15. Tickets for Saturday or Sunday afternoon only are priced at £12, and a Saturday or Sunday evening only ticket is priced at £16. Public Transport

Swinton station is under 2 miles from Wath upon Dearne. Sheffield bus station is under ten miles away for coaches.
