Welcome To Wales 2010

Welcome To Wales, is an open air concert taking place at the Millennium Stadium on Wednesday 29th September and will feature an all-star line up of musicians and celebrities. The special celebration concert will take place ahead of this year's Ryder Cup golf tournament.

Line-up

There are no acts confirmed yet for 2010. The event will be featuring musical performances by international superstars including popular Welsh artists, along with appearances by special guests, 'Welcome to Wales' will also incorporate the introduction of The Ryder Cup teams from across Europe and the United States.

Tickets

Ticket prices have not yet been confirmed, and tickets are not yet on sale.

Carwyn Jones, First Minister of Wales, said: "The Ryder Cup will be a huge event for Wales and we are keen to ensure a warm Welsh welcome to visitors, this is an ideal way to kick-start proceedings and show the world what Wales has to offer."

The Ryder Cup

The bi-annual golf tournament is set to take place at the Celtic Manor Resort in Newport between Tuesday 28th September and Sunday 3rd October.
