Leamington Latin Festival 2010

Leamington Latin Festival takes place on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th July 2010 at Victoria Park, in Leamington Spa, Warwickshire.

The second Leamington Latin Festival boasts exclusive performances from Britain, Europe and South America providing a free family weekend event.. providing plenty of live music, dancing, entertainment and cuisine. The Festival celebrates the culture, passion and warmth of Latin America and its people.

Line-up

A diverse range of performances and dance classes are available throughout the day ranging from Son (the essence of Cuba) to Rumba, Rueda, Bachata, Salsa, Samba and Reggaeton. Bands include Luis Lema (Salsa band), Leximan, Ciclon Cubano, and Coventry School of Samba. DJs include DJ flecha, DJ Sabroso, DJ Javier, DJ Ivan El Samurai, Dancers & Teachers, Karel Duvergel, Leandro Charanga, Rosa Perez, Pauline Dunkley, plus Stage Coach Leamington dance school, Michelle Zumba Fitness, and more yet to be announced.

Visitors to the Leamington Latin Festival will experience enticing flavours of Latin cuisine, hours of live Salsa and Samba music as well as children's entertainment.

Those who are interested in learning more about Cuban Dance and Music Habanaloko offers intensive workshops and Salsa courses in the Midlands from beginner to advanced dancers.

Accommodation

This event does not have camping but there are a number of hotels, hostels and guest houses in the area.
