  1. I guess there will be some more additions but for headliners it definitely seems like it’s complete
  2. It does feel like Kylie is a bit of a last minute decision….
  3. I think also leaks said at some point jungle was in the works.. but I’m guessing this has not gone through ?
  4. If there is another band it won’t be a headliner. The headliners are complete now and Tom Odell seems to be sub headliner for the first day.
  5. If she had come in an earlier announcement, it might be have gone down well. But I know a lot of people had high hopes for the last headliner so it’s a bit of a kick in the teeth when another solo artist gets announced and there is little variation in genre between the headliners.
  6. I think for this reason day tickets could sell well. As stand alone acts, a lot of the artists are very popular and have potential to shift high volumes of tickets. But the 6 day pass is extremely unattractive as all the artists combine to form a very uninspired line up.
  7. How do you get to the front section or do you need a vip ticket?
  8. I’m 23 and I think the line up is awful. last year, however, I thought was decent. Imagine dragons, girl in red, lorde, Florence & machine, Billie eilish were all ‘big’ appealing names to me. This year I would struggle to want to see any of the headliners apart from Martin Garrix.
  9. Yep. Account was created only 6 minutes ago haha
  10. Imagine will only be smaller names this year. - not only do the bookings seem to be very hap-hazard and random this year, but the marketing and announcement strategy is nothing other than poor. These names have been randomly announced with no structure to the line up announcements whatsoever. Maybe that’s linked to troubles with booking artists (which I can only assume is down to money reasons…). I think this is the most ‘in-balanced’ line up Sziget ever presented. When you’re presenting a week long festival encompassing different music types, it’s very strange to not even have one band as headliner in the mix and only bands lower down on the undercard. Whilst some of this years names stand alone would sell tickets, I think they will struggle to sell week passes big time. 2023 line up is a dream compared to this one.
  11. Of course she’s headliner and she’s also listed with headliners on the website
  12. I can’t see any circumstance in which Sam smith wouldn’t have the longer set
  13. Orla gartland is a Great Name on here and doesn’t seem like she’s doing any other shows
  14. Sziget doesn’t always have 2 headliners a day. Sometimes someone from lower on the poster plays the ‘sub headliner’ or second slot. E.g. Jain played before Ed Sheeran in 2019 and she was low down on the poster. So we are realistically looking at one more headliner and Tom Odell or someone else will probably play the second slot
