Feels more like a Daphni track, but wonder if the label are keen for a Caribou release?
  2. Gutted that DIIV aren't doing the rest of the dates but happy enough with Sorry
  3. Honestly it just feels way over crowded. I know a lot of venues can be uncomfortable and you're often elbow-to-elbow with people but there isn't even any space at the back by the bar. It's not just this but they introduced that disabled section near the steps on the left hand side a few years back and it doesn't feel like they've compensated for that in the overall capacity. I also find it has more obstructed viewing points than any other venue I've been to, whether that's the stairs, the low balcony, the sound booth etc - seems you only have a good view if you're in the "pit" or the first row on the balcony. Anyway, thankfully Beacon is a massive upgrade and hopefully there'll be more gigs there going forward.
  4. Bristol suits me but the Academy is awful, genuinely makes me think twice about going.

This might be the most stacked day for new releases so far this year.
  6. Hopefully it'll only be a few more years before the new Cardiff arena opens and provides a venue sizable enough for tours like VW.

Really liking the new Waxahatchee & Adrianne Lenker today
  8. Only household name at that time on Thursday - it was absolute carnage.

    SZA

I too have watched this many times. Just wish they wouldn't reload as it completely saps the energy.
  10. I know we're just under 6 months away but can anyone remember roughly when the stage splits and times were released last year?

    The 1975

I know it's become a meme but isn't there something about it being so old that they no longer have the original stems to be able to recreate it live? You're right that the Pyramid would be the right place for it, though I'm not even sure Matty can even sing that low anymore...

Some good tunes on that Bombay Bicycle Club EP as well, though seems an odd time to put this out with the UK tour finishing last week and the album having only come out in October.
