More acts plus a new beach venue been revealed for the 12th edition of The Great Escape, which will feature hundreds of international and UK pop, cutting edge, hip hop, electronic, and rock acts showcased at venues all over Brighton, East Sussex, happening from Thursday 17th until Saturday 19th May 2018.

The Great Escape will be creating its own 2000 capacity festival site on Brighton beach. Adding to the 30 venues already used by the festival, the new festival site will be home to two music venues. 

Rory Bett, MAMA Festivals CEO said: “With demand and drive for new music and an ever-expanding festival, creating our first, very own festival site on the beach is the most exciting news in TGE’s history and we couldn’t have a more perfect spot than right on the seafront. The Beach will become a magnet for music lovers during the festival and we can’t wait to open the doors.”

Festival tickets are on sale, currently priced at £65 for a 3-day adult ticket.

A 3-day Festival ticket gives you access to the core venues, subject to each venues capacity. A small number of the shows will take place at The Dome in Brighton; to ensure guaranteed access to Dome Shows, attendees will be able to top up their festival wristband for a small fee, or purchase separate gig tickets.
