Snow Patrol & Kasabian to headline T in the Park

Headliners Snow Patrol, and Kasabian, and many more have been announced for this summer's 19th T in the Park, ahead of tickets going on sale next week.

Snow Patrol will headline Friday, Kasabian the Saturday night, and the previously announced The Stone Roses will close the festival.

Also joining the bill will be Tinie Tempah, New Order, David Guetta, Calvin Harris, Elbow, Example, Professor Green, Kaiser Chiefs, and Jessie J.

Other confirmed acts include Chase & Status, Skrillex, The Temper Trap, Sven Vath, Emeli Sande, Ben Howard, Happy Mondays, James Morrison, The Darkness, Miike Snow, Labrinth, Amy Macdonald, The Courteeners, The Enemy, Mastodon, and Slam.

The Scottish bash will also be host to Pulled Apart By Horses, Tribes, Enter Shikari, Major Lazer, Rizzle Kicks, Peter Doherty, Skream ft. Sgt Pokes, Erol Alkan, The Wailers, Benga, Fake Blood, Jack Beats, Crookers, Alabama Shakes, The Wanted, Twin Atlantic, Dubfire, Joris Voorn, Christina Perri, Devlin, Bellowhead, Maya Jane Coles, Little Roy, Spector, Len Faki, Band Of Skulls, and Pan-Pot.

Geoff Ellis the Festival Director at DF Concerts said, "It's really important to us that we listen to the fans and make every effort to book the bands they tell us they want to see. With some of the biggest bands and the greatest audience in the world, we hope the weekend of 6 – 8 July will be unforgettable for fans. Opening the campsite gates for the first time is still my favourite moment of the festival weekend and I can’t wait to see you all in July!."

T in the Park will be back at Balado in 2012 from Friday 6th to Sunday 8th July with early entry available on Thursday 5th July with a line-up that will see over 180 artists playing over 11 stages with the previously confirmed headliners The Stone Roses, plus Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Florence + The Machine, The Maccabees, The Horrors, Miles Kane, The Vaccines, Maverick Sabre, Frank Turner, and Two Door Cinema Club.

A limited release of T in the Park tickets went on sale last year with around 42,500 tickets went in under five hours. The final batch of T in the Park tickets will go on general sale at 9am on Wednesday 29th February 2012, and eFestivals will have links to buy them then.

Tickets for T in the Park 2012 will be priced as follows:

A full weekend camping ticket (Fri-Sun arena access) £189
A full weekend with Thursday camping (Thurs - Sun) £199
A weekend (Fri-Sun) with no camping £179
A Saturday or Sunday day ticket £77.50
Friday only £70

No under 5s. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult 21+ with a full priced ticket.
