The Killers, and Oasis to headline V Festival

The Killers, and Oasis will headline the twin-sited V Festival, topping the first acts for this year.

The V Festival website reveals that The Killers will headline Chelmsford on the Saturday and Stafford on the Sunday, and Oasis will headline Staffordshire on the Saturday, and Chelmsford on the Sunday.

Also confirmed as playing are Razorlight, Keane, The Specials, Snow Patrol, Elbow, The Ting Tings, MGMT, Fatboy Slim, Pendulum, The Script, Paolo Nutini, Lily Allen, The Wombats, The Streets, Biffy Clyro, Katy Perry, James Morrison, Peter Doherty, Happy Mondays, Ocean Colour Scene, The Enemy, Dizzee Rascal, Lady GaGa, James, Seasick Steve, Alesha Dixon, Taylor Swift, and The Saturdays. With many more acts still to be announced.

The twin-sited V Festival takes place at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, Essex and Weston Park, Staffordshire on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd August this year.

Tickets will go on sale at 10am, this Friday 6th March, priced at £152.50 for a weekend pass with camping, or £132.50 for a weekend pass without camping, or £73.50 for a day ticket. eFestivals will have links to buy them then - they're expected to sell out extremely quickly on Friday, so don't hang about!
