Early camping balls-up

From what I'm hearing there's been a balls-up with the camping for people arriving on Wednesday. My mum and sister got there on the Green Bus along with about a thousand other people and were told the white field was closed and they weren't allowed in anywhere else even though the fields were empty. The stewards didn't have any idea what was happening. It took them six hours in the rain for them to finally let these people in before it went dark. It's not funny when you know your mum and sister are stuck in the middle of nowhere with a ton of festival gear!

I'm not sure of all the details yet as they obviously have limited phone access right now but I was wondering if anyone else has heard about this.
