looks like this will be my european festival of choice this year! looking foward to something hot rather than my 8 in a row torrential rain festival run ..... so jynxed it sorry guys

so really i get 25 quid in food and drink vouchers which is 5 beers or 5 meals which in theory is going to get used in the first day
i actually would have preferred if they offered nothing at all... or even a voucher for merchandise or 25 euros off the next ticket price.... not an obvious attempt at trying to get people to go to the next 3 festivals. they no that this isnt going to make everyone go again i mean you have to download them before they announce any bands in december when most people arnt even thinking about festivals
its not going to be in anyones minds so alot of people will forget to print them off.
its a shame but im never going again.
sorry for the rant. and i wouldnt want the festival to go under. but i just find this patronising
plus is it like 10'000 peope go too the fest from the UK? that is a lot of people which this isnt going to help in the slightest.
on now sorry for the rant

i dont feel valued.... basically i have to pay 80 quid on flights... lose 3 or 4 days of my holidays and another 150 quid on a ticket if i want to get my money back
not happy.... wont be going again unfortantly... and will have to miss out on doing a fest next year due to funds... feel more sorry for my mate who is a student and was properly desperate for something back
and please dont say im being disrecpectful... last thing i want to be.

yup i did was breathtaking one of the most entertaining gigs ive been too!
makes a change from the many school trips ther in the past
thought british sea power were great too!
if you do go theres a great pub in shrewsbury called the yorkshire house.... the only place with a decent jukebox and has the best atmosphere so would defeiently recomend having a few there

the biggest WTF is Ting Tings so high
but yeah joy formidable, yuck, lykki lye, cults and trash talk r ones ive discovered as well!
plus i keep forgetting Deftones are playing as they are one of my fav bands!

very happy with Frank Turner.... didnt get to see him at Download as he clashed with Rob Zombie, so will defo be seeing him this time round

How close to the flare were you salty? cos it went off about 6 feet to my right, shit me right up it did. I was stood at the front of that f**king ridiculous moshpit that started up near there, it was f**king pathetic - macho posturing. one kid got knocked spark out, and had to be carried away by his mates cos he kept collapsing.

yeah i left and yeah paids loads of money.... but i felt i already got my moneys worth plus only zombie intrested me on the final day and ive seen him recently annnnd my tent was broke so couldnt close it (my fault decided to tear through it as i was to drunk to find the zip)
got another festival to make up for it though!
doubt i will go to another british fest... so much prefer the european ones and going to limit myself to one a year from now on as i only have so much days holiday!
oh and a high.... the girl who flashed during puddle of mudd
found it hilarious that the cameraman stayed about a full song focused on her -
left sunday morning ... wasnt going to wait all day ust to see Zombie and Disturbed as ive seen them before.
System were amazing as were clutch and Skindred were on top top form
low lights .... a7x were god awful and boring. ive seen them three times now and i dont even like them
all that remains were really good as well
oh and the nights were horrifically cold
enjoyed myself though
the crowd size for Darkness and deff lepp compared to Korn and pendulum was hilarious
