  2. I have read Neil's comments about Elbow being unlikely to play this year. But he also mentioned they "could be convinced" if they either receivd a late offer or finished the album early. I feel it is our duty to convinvce them to play this year - the best ever Glasto pefformance I have experienced was their Queens Head gig in 2008

So please join with me with the petition...

"ELBOW - PLEEEEAAAAASE PLAY THIS YEAR!!!"

  3. Brilliant. If that video doesn't make you smile, then maybe Glastonbury isn't for you!

That really is fantastic news that Biggles are now TBC. So fantastic in fact that I have now paid the remaining balance on my ticket. I think Biggles were the first band I ever saw at Glasto too in 2004 in the Croissant Neuf tent. They really know how to have a good time. Saw them again last year on the bandstand, almost identical set (even the jokes) and it was still amazing. I hope to see them again this year, and hope they still haven't changed their set!

  4. I love Sigur Ros, have done for years, right back to that first album, never seen them live, and can't really imagine them working as a festival band. Am i wrong? Almost cerainly by the sounds of things, just don't see them a as live, get the crowd going sort of band.
  5. Had the honour to see them at Latitude a couple of years ago. Ruddy awesome. I would love to see them again at Glasto. But where should they play? Pyramid, no; other stage, maybe. Why can't they have a set at the stone circle? How cool (and improbable) would that be?! it is Glastos birthday so everythings possible isn't it?!

    :P
